Yo, I have an impression that TL.net don't like gangsta rap much judging by some opinions from this thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=223865 However, I'm willing to stick to listening to this style of rap despite mainstream and opinions that claim it's too violent. Anyway, could you please recommend some west side or east side rap, please? If it helps, I usually listen to such songs: + Show Spoiler +
Eminem's song isn't much gangsta, but still... I like it.

I wish I was not computer-retarded and would know how to post a youtube video here.

you calling 2pac sellout ? whaa?
2Pac was not a sellout per se, but his understanding of Thug Life was limited compared to his contemporaries such as Biggie, Dr Dre, etc. What made 2Pac special was his ability to glorify the Thug Life to hit the masses and really propelled rap to the mainstream. 2Pac is still my favorite rapper of all time, but I would relate him to Kanye West rather than rappers from the hood.

Not at all, he rapped about Thug Life, but his upbringing was anything but.

How was his upbringing anything but? I have a feeling we are not talking about the same person

He didn't have it as hard as the others, got to go to a well known school for the arts etc. He put himself in the thug life whenever he moved to cali and got involved with gangs and shit.
I don't see how that matters at all though, its all about the music, and tupac is the best IMO.
I was thinking of suggesting AOTP/JMT too but judging by the music he provided us, I'm not sure if that is his type of preference. Although I got to be honest, your taste in music seems to be outdated/not matured. No offense, I couldn't think of a better way to put it into words. Let me try to give you a few examples of what I think you'd like.
