I am so sick and tired that I don't have enough time to do what I want. There are only 24 hours per day, and sleeping eats up 6-8 hours a day, and work another 6-8 hours. Today I had a day off and my girlfriend went to work and yesterday I was like "Yes!!" today I can play SC2 the whole day and study a bit for my uni entrance exams, but guess what? I sleep till 2 PM and in 30 minutes my girlfriend is back. Which is of course great, but in a way I am dissapointed, I cannot play for 6+ hours anymore. I have ruined the day due to sleeping too much.
It feels like everyday is the same, everything circles around working and sleeping. I would just want to do whatever I want without worrying about obligations such as work and entertaining my girlfriend. Of course I love her and etc. but now I feel like i'd want to be alone for next 1-2 weeks and not leave my house. Just talk to some e-friends on skype and mass ladder. Another thing that is worrying be is the entrance exams, which are in around 3 weeks. I've heard that the exams are a piece of cake, but I still haven't managed to study much. Anyone have any tips on how to get started?
I wish the were hyperbolic timechambers in real life, so I could just enter one and play Starcraft for a couple of years and then come back, and everyone would be like "Did you have a nice weekend all alone?"^_^ Anyway, this blog didnt really have any purpose, just wanted to put some thoughts on paper.
Also, could anyone tell me a solid opener for PvZ on maps where Forge FE isnt viable? Feels like 3 gate FE is figured out and doesnt work as well due to warpgate nerf.

Having a girlfriend seems like one of those grass is always greener kind of things. I can tell you that I would much rather have less time right now and a girl.
College Entrance exams aren't too important. Doing too much studying and doing really well on them will only place you in a harder school. If a school is out of your abilities to do well in on a regular basis, because your entrance scores are overinflated by unnatural durations of studying, then you're going to have a hard time. Do you plan on staying w/ your gf after High School? If yes then study more (unless she's dumb).
The best way to get started studying is obviously just to start. This is rather easy. The hard part is to continue studying.

I agree. We really need more than 24 hours per day.

Well, I plan to stay with her for the rest of my life. She is actually rather intelligent, applying for law school and stuff. Also I finished high school in 2009, then went to army to finish my mandatory military service (1 year), so I couldnt apply last summer cause I got out from the army then. I worked whole summer 2010 until now, and i'm already 21 so high pressure to get into school. It's insane how much stress exams and constant working causes. Feels like im unable to relax 100% atm. Hope this will pass.
At times it feels like I would be better off alone though. Like being able to go after all the girls at nightclubs and shit. But I know I couldn't live without my girlfriend, in the end i'd do anything for her. I just don't know why I sometimes get the feeling that i'd be better off single. Is this normal? lol

I have the same problems. I work a 45 hour week, and my girlfriend always wants to hang out. I havent played a game of sc since monday. Ugh.

If she really respects you, she would surely be patient and understanding enough to agree, right?

Yeah man we all want some time to ourselves so its normal to want to be away from your girlfriend. Maybe just spend one day chilling and recharging on your own and let her know that you just want a day for yourself to just relax by yourself. Say you need some alone time just you and you lol My girlfriend is ok with me doing that kind of thing once in a while and we've been together for 4 years Also working and also in university so somewhat similar work work work situation.

Welcome to life. Try having a career, a house, a family. If anything it should deepen your appreciation for the professional gamers as they either had a great luxury or had some serious sacrifices to get where they are today.

True that. If you don't take breaks for yourself, even if just a day or two a month, you'll burn out the relationship, and then things get worse and worse. That's from personal experience. Who knows, she might enjoy a day to herself too, just don't make her feel like you're saying, "ugh I'm sick and tired of you" but make sure that she knows you just want a day to do whatever the fuck you want without having to worry about a damn thing. Too much of a good thing can still be bad!
