So this is it. She's finally leaving. It's been a great time so far but the girlfriend is going off finally for a year back to finish her degree and then she's might come back or she might not.
So here it is her flight is departing from london and we'll be headed down for it. And I'm at a loss at how to make this special for her. She's just basically flying off and this may very well be my last moments with her. So I'm asking anyone in London, europe or the whole wide world who could possibly provide some ideas for suggestions on what we should do in our last few days together?

Bed...
Seriously man. No better way to spend the day. Everything else would seem false and really melancholy. Pubs, tourist spots, movies, walks, parks, galleries, restaturants, everything = what do you talk about.
At least in bed you can have some fun ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif)
PS I've been through this before and there is no way to make it un-awkward. It will be weird, but once you accept it, you can both make it into a joke and just do stupid stuff.

do something like probulous said, except it doesnt necesarily have to be bed or involve sex; lay out on the lawn and have a picnic and just be together all day, something like this. like he said though, don't do anything public, its so cliche and uneventful

I envy you sort of dude. When I left my girlfriend in New Zealand, she broke up with me a month before and hoped we could mend our friendship before I leave. which I believe was stupid but hey whatever. So, I got no real advice for you. Hope you do, do something though. Just imagine how shes feeling. I had to leave, it was dreadful ![](/mirror/smilies/frown.gif)
I agree with Fallen. Do something in private. Go walk on a beach if there is one nearby, go for a horse ride? Girls love horses ^_^
All the best

take the train to Paris for a nice dinner at an intimate non-tourist french restaurant?
definitely I'd do that, with a bit of research.
Better still if it is a surprise. "meet me at the station".
