Tech blog - Do I have it in me?

I started a blog quite a while back, pretty much solely motivated by the fun of setting up all the technical stuff, but have recently regained some interest in filling it with content, since it can be pretty enjoying expressing opinions or sharing my experience from the IT-world and also very satisfying helping others out. Also, since English is my second language it is a great way to practice.

But hopefully some real-life people will eventually start visiting the site, for now according to my Google-analytics I get pretty much either 1 or 0 unique viewers every week haha. Perhaps you can take a look and give your impression? If I continue the way I am so far, could that eventually spark some traffic, or am I simply too boring to read? I'm a bit curious as to whether or not I got it in me

I guess my ultimate goal would be to have 100-200 unique viewers a week, that would be really satisfying! What would it take? Could you imagine yourself reading something like this, if there was more content (I know there is very little so far). I will gladly take any advice! Be completely honest, I won't mind being shot down either :D.

lol i remember starting a blog once and giving up in a month

it was about psychology and i got 1300 unique views that first month
after the first two weeks i hated every moment of it

I found it quite interesting, especially the DNS-tunneling. I knew about the concept, but didn't know the specifics of how to get the data through.

Haha pretty amazing results! Reading your post just made me think that perhaps this blog's future is pretty slim, since the people I speak to is such a smaller percentage of the people online who would find it interesting. Whereas if I maybe had a different topic I would be getting other results. Food for thought at least... Did you do anything special getting your blog "out" there or just had it crawled by Google and then bam!

i spent a lot of time trying to get people to read it i suppose, networking and all that stuff, i was able to get a few other smallish (bigger than mine though) blogs to link to my site because they thought my content was good

bounce rate was pretty high though

i read a lot about seo and all that jazz too, although i guess i never really got to use it
