Yesterday grand master league has appeared and I expected to be part of it as I consistently was in the top 200 with my 1st account...

However, to my dismay... I am not in it. Maybe part of the reason is that I tilted a bit and lowered my points to 730ish RIGHT before the grand master was coming out.... After it came out I spent around 14 hours trying to bring it up... i brought it to about 880ish... but I'm still not promoted.

It's frustrating when you are facing grand master leaguers all the time... but you will forever (or what seems like it) a lower "master" leaguer....

I will make it for sure next season... whenever that will be... hopefully before I die.

Eh, a lot of people havent' made it. And from what I've heard it's not "full" yet. Don't quote me on that. If you didn't make it, that sucks. But just keep playing, do tournies, and your game will be fine.

I don't think it makes sense to view GM as a genuine higher league. It's closer to being a tournament with no prizes. People will miss out on qualifying for it this time around or forfeit their position due to inactivity, but it's not really the same as say dropping from masters to diamond, or anything like that.

I know your dedicated grinding for 14 hours but don't make this your entire life's goal, just because your not in GM, but if your MMR is high enough to play against them, then your technically at that skill level.

Yea.. I should just let this uneasy feeling go...It's just mentally shocking experience cuz i expected to get in without a problem..... I guess i just suck

uhh why do u really care about grand masters? i mean theres literally nothing different other than the icon
and its not even about points its about your mmr

I wouldn't say "no prices". Blizzard has based tournament invites on ladder rankings in the past. But that might only apply to like the top 5 of each ladder region, i.e. not for average humans.
