Bad news : kpopflash is no longer streaming. This is really bad, they were our only source for the foreigners to access live korean broadcast, afaik. They put up a notice on their website: www.kpopflash.net
They decided to stop streaming because they were getting alot of hate from the viewers (thats right, the viewers who watch their stream for free while they had to pay money for it). I loled at the example tweet being from a sone (sone stereotype seems true apparently  ).
So what can we do about it?
Well we can show our support by thanking the kpf gang for the stream and stop hating them, whoever the haters may be (and there is no reason for ppl to hate in the first place, the stream is FREE FOR US) and donate if you can. And for those of you who are a member of soshified with the prerequisite amount of posts to be abled make a thread, make a thread about it to convince the haters not to hate and be thankful for what they get. It's credit were its due and its not alot to ask for.

people (again, generalizing) just can't appreciate how hard some people work just to help fellas out there; nowadays many people is used to have everything they want asap and for free. if they can't, they'll blame at others for not providing them what they want. there's not much you can do to help this, I think it is a general mindset

They get so much hate because of blatant and purposeful trolling; I even played a role in some of it once upon a time. They would do things like intentionally turn off the stream, mute it, or otherwise impede the ability for certain perfs (e.g. 2NE1) to be viewed, causing people to bitch. Then, when actual problems would occur, nobody would believe them, and KPF staff would pull the "you don't pay for this," "it's our site," etc., all the while complaining about being unjustly libeled and about how nobody had any appreciation for what they did.
The "hate" is completely warranted.

And whatever you said about 2NE1 was done after people started bitching about a legitimate problem. Perhaps you would have remembered if you weren't blinded by emotions. And trust me, anyone with a SNSD poster in their room tends to get emotional.

It might be accurate, but it is irrelevant grudge posting because I doubt you have followed recent events.
And to the OP: the primary reason for stopping streaming is not because of the hate. But since we are stopping anyway we might as well call some people out. You could have just PM'd some of us instead of making a blog lol.

It's not irrelevant. The OP portrayed the people complaining as ungrateful "haters" with no reason to complain, whereas that's not the case. If people are going to rally to a cause, they should be informed, not misled.

The misinformation is when you said the hate is completely warranted. This comes off as a grudge against us. Yes it is warranted when we blue screened on 2NE1 for fun, or when we flipped SNSD's performance upside down (who can resist?), or when we used the right click menu on the screen to block out Hyoyeon (that's totally justified), but that is in the past. Recently these two groups have not been performing, so what can cause us to be hated? We have been lagging, and people are able to tell the difference between lagging and messing with the stream by now, and yes they threaten us for lagging. That is not warranted.

I totally condone the hiding of Hyoyeon with the right click menu. I remember distinctly bracing myself for the horrors of said person but having whoever that was streaming come save us all with that magical box.
