Lines for RO16 for TSL3 have just gone up on Pinnacle
+ Show Spoiler +
[image loading]

When seeing these odds I immediately put down 2 bets as I believe the lines will move pretty quickly.

Tyler vs ThorZaIN

10 units on Tyler @ 2.650

IMO again the bookies are underestimating the chances of Tyler in a series which he can prepare for. I'd have him as the favourite despite his poor showing at MLG. That tournament format is not his forte, whereas 1 match every 2 weeks which he can prepare for is the reason he was able to take out the then by far best foreigner IdrA in TSL2. I think these odds are rediculous at the moment, full 10 unit bet.

Sen vs BoxeR

9 units on Sen @ 1.926

Might get a few haters for my lack of faith in the emperor, but we've seen over the last few weeks that the gap between foreigners and koreans isn't as big as many of us had thought. Given this we have one of the very best foreigners against one of the koreans who is struggling, playing his worst matchup and also devoting time to running a team. No brainer bet on Sen here imo. 9 units

Will update this post soon, got food now but just had to get these bets on

Let me know what you guys are betting, GL

tyvm for the heads up gotta copy you on these.

alright after looking at it

i was gonna bet on thorzain if it was 1:1, but odds are too good so
tyler v thorzain. I think tyler is a phenomenal player, but plays way too safe with the 2g robo expands into double forge and what not. In bw this was great because he was just that much better than everyone else mechanically, but now because of easier mechanics, i feel he has to take some risks somewhere along the line to get ahead, which he seems reluctant to do.

sen v boxer. Sen is simply a monster, boxer hasnt impressed me yet in sc2 and his worst mu is tvz

morrow v hasuobs. morrow's zvp is insanely strong - his creep spread is godly, he took a game off MC and was close in another one. I don't know how good hasu's pvz is, but given the lack of good zergs in europe and how impressed I am with morrow's zvp i gotta give it to morrow

nada v kas. Kas seems pretty strong TvT, beating tons of good european terrans, but nada is nada. At -136 i think nada is a great bet

goody v naniwa. Naniwa just tore up mlg and destroyed select in some really solid pvt. But at +294, its just too ridiculous, goody is no slouch himself.

shame that i already missed on sen (-127 when i placed) and even better odds on goody

Morrow took a game off MC? ;o was this in a ladder match or smthing? haven't seen it in any tournies.

Not too sure about nada vs kas, if either side i'd probably take kas

Odds on Sen and Tyler already dropped. Goody too, might end up putting a bet on naniwa

No odds offered on Ra vs MC

I have high expectations for tyler as well but remember that thorzain was a beast is the matches he played and he might keep surprising but i still go with tyler as well.

Though sen showed some strong zerg I feel like boxer will come and surprise us with some better play vs zerg than he has shown in the past and beat sen.

heh, tyler v thorzain (-158) has dropped enough for a freeroll, you think its gonna drop even more or should I lock it up now/soon?

Damn those lines you got were good, I took Tyler/Sen as well, obvious choices for me, also decided to go for qxc, he seemed pretty on the ball at MLG and I think he can do it, given the odds its a pretty good bet, Adelscott is obviously scary as balls but I don't think qxc is in any way as predictable as MVP and will be more well prepared, decided to take Morrow as well.

edit: is there a way to get emailed when lines go up?

I think you will lose value locking it up now.

I think the bet u have on Tyler has more value than the size of the small guarenteed payout you would get by cross booking atm

MorroW and Kas getting odds getting shorter

Was thinking of taking them, doh

Mondi getting shorter too and Goody, though I didn't want to take those, so might bet against them if it keeps going

I feel like I missed some good opportunities here .
Going to watch how the odds keep changing. If Hasu vs Morrow gets even closer I will bet on Hasu. Also might be 4 units on Tyler@2.41 cause I have him as the favorite as well would have bettet more if had gotten the odds that rANDY got.

Edit: one hour later and Tyler is @ 2.22 .... well should have betted when I felt like it, now im not going to

If Tyler is the favorite, isnt it still good to bet at 2.22?

What do you guys think about betting on cruncher? the line has moved quite a bit

its looking more and more appealing, will probably put money on kas, cruncher and nani, especially if their odds go up anymore

No matter how good Naniwa looked last weekend, GoOdy is going to win > 22% of the time and Naniwa isn't going to win 81%. No pro starcraft player has a winrate that good or that bad to justify those odds imo.
Of course, you only live one life, and you make all your mistakes, and learn what not to do, and that’s the end of you.

Yeah guys come on, lets get this going.

+ Show Spoiler +
On to today's GSL games, man did I get f*cked.. I was already counting my money when MC demolished Foxer first 2 games. And then.... lol.

Well, if 1/4 of my total funds on pinnacle is what it takes for my favourite player Foxer to make it to the finals so be it then ;]
