Hey  I'm making this blog entry in hopes of possibly meeting up with some TL peeps from Princeton or nearby (if any exist ). A little bit about me, I recently turned 20 and took a huge step in my life by accepting a job offer which consisted of moving away from friends, family and everyday life in Denmark to the USA. I lived in Denmark for the last 9 years (from 11 to 20).
It's a huge opportunity so I gladly accepted and have now been living in a smaller town called Plainsboro, close to Princeton for the last few months. I'm actually half-american half-danish which is why my English is not horrible, and have a little bit of family from the mothers side in Queens, NY. I usually end up visiting them every weekend mostly to keep myself sain heh, because besides from them, my 1 colleague and my online-friends, I don't know anyone.
So I got the great job, I got a nice apartment, nice company car, everything is setup - but I'm just lonely as hell :D I'm having a hard time getting to meet anyone, not only does it feel like no people exist between 17 and 25 wherever I move around outside of my apartment and my office, but I come from a Scandinavian country where practically everything is different so I feel like I'm having a hard time integrating myself.
So, is there anyone out there??? I'd gladly exchange facebook's or something so you can at least ensure yourself I don't look like a psycho :D I'd like to share more aswell but I kind of laid back since this was starting to look more like a dating ad than originally intended haha.
Anyways, if anyone randomly came by and read this despite not being remotely close to Princeton, do you have any ideas or suggestions on how I can kick-start my life as an American?? It would be greatly appreciated!

I'm about an hour away from you if google maps is honest, but head over towards New Jersey every week to hang out with some friends.
I'd be down for exchanging facebook links and seeing if we hate each other.

Yeah. There are many princetonians here. Check the CSL threads for the Princeton teams and then find their TL Ids and pm them! (hazelynut and darthienan are good places to start btw)

I think the area around Princeton has the most people from NJ on TL.
either that or Bergen County? who knows.

I'm in Ewing some days of the week. Only about 20 minute drive to Princeton/Plainsboro up Rt.1 (I hate the traffic on that road though, lol). Drop me a PM if you want!

Wow! I'm really surprised with the feedback here, it was more of a shot in the dark, I'm sort of new to SC2 and didn't know about CSL yet alone that Princeton had their own team :O Definitely going to see if I can make some connections there too! Zanzabar and Classy, I sent you two pm's

And how could you not know Princeton had a CSL team? The CSL started here! .

Yes! We're in the area :-) we practice on Fridays but hang out a lot during the week, occasionally set up LAN/viewing events too. Probably going to hold TSL viewing parties if there's interest! We'll probably rent out a room in Frist and see how things go. Come hang out!

Hey man always nice to hear that there are fellow Starcraft fans moving in nearby! I actually go to Rutgers University in New Brunswick (about 20-30 minutes from Plainsboro). We have a pretty big Starcraft club and community members are always welcome to our meetings! It's a little late now because the semester just ended, but you're welcome to come by next semester and hang out, I'm sure we'll be hosting a lot of fun events.
Also as a fellow Scandinavian (half Swedish), I'm quite familiar with the nordic culture
