I'm a little late because I didn't notice it at first but here is my 500th post blog! I really just am making this to thank the whole Broodwar TL community because you guys are so great. SC2 was my first video game ever(read it. NOT RTS. Video game) mostly because I was busy in my earlier years playing piano and practicing guitar and violin. Once I got to high school my parents stopped caring whatever I did so I decided I would try this game who's advertisement I had seen on youtube. I played and loved it so much I almost missed a day of piano practice(lol not happening). Then, when I was over at my cousins house, I learned about BW. I was slightly annoyed at myself for not starting that game earlier because I could tell pretty quickly what I had been missing. I played BW only from that point on and I have to say, it is so amazing! I was so passionate about the game that first month or so, I quickly got myself banned from TL twice (the second time for a whole month) for trolling the SC2 forums. I now watch about every BW pro-game I can and I play as much as I can. I started out at E but I have now reached the illustrious rank of D! I just want to conclude by saying this game is the greatest thing ever and I hope as a pianist I will still have time to watch and play this game. PLEASE no matter how bad things look for BW EVER, don't stop playing. I KNOW that it is an amazing thing, really competition unrivaled in any other game(I am 1700 USCF so you can trust me ) and the best ALWAYS rise to the top. Broodwar for ever.

Ah, one of the surviving BW players. Never play SC2, you won't be able to go back to BW after playing it.
Gratz on 500 posts, 1k comes sooner than you think.

But on the more serious note, the way I saw you frantically defending BW in every thread possible, I never thought that you were a SC2 player originally. Puts things in different perspective. Also, a bit of a friendly advice. Stop being so insecure about BW's future that you have to keep telling everyone (even yourself) that BW will never die. Instead of that, just keep playing it, like me and many other people do and stop worrying It comes from my OCD nature. I really cannot help it.

Btw, how old are you? I'm 15 but because I haven't gone to school in like a year I sound a lot younger.

Nah it's not that you sound young, I just wanted to know how old you were just because I was curious for some reason

Ok, if you don't win your first few games in SC2, then it is easy to go back to BW, but SC2 gets addicting quickly.

Yah, its easy to go back to BW after playing SCII. It stops appealing after a certain point to some people. etheovermind Happy 500th post :D
