This is just a rant blog because I was just accused of maphacking in sc2. I was accused of hacking a while ago in sc1 from a clan member which he later publicly apologized after he found out he was wrong.
We were having a clan war CnB vs Team JA. This was a 5v5 winner stay system clan war. I was the starter for my team and beat my first opponent who went korean 4 gate(zealot only) PVP.
Then I had to play a zerg Metygl http://sc2ranks.com/us/1831872/Metygl from their team on the same Xel'Naga map and I did my usual 4 gate way rush and won.
Third game was a PvT against BioOrMech http://sc2ranks.com/us/1880874/BioOrMech on Shakuras Plateau. I have this map thumbed down since it came out because I like small maps. I started out this game as how I start most of my PvT.
I learned a new b/o that I saw no one execute from a korean player named ChitaPrime. It's a 2 gate push to fast expand which could devastate a player without a bunker or teching. Even if your opponent has bunkers ready, you are still ahead from fast expansion. It's nice because initial push has the same amount of unit as a 4 gate. There's a variation of 1 zealot 1 sentry 4 stalkers or 1 zealot 5 stalker. Not many NA server terrans know about this build so they complain about 4 gate when they lose initially to this rush.
This is where the issue started. While I was waiting for the 4th game, I was told Team JA were arguing about me maphacking. They were saying there are many area where they think I was hacking. First one was my initial attack with 1 zealot 5 stalkers. They said "why would anyone do that? Never seen that....." well I explained above.
Second issue was why did I send a stalker to his expo at 12 instead of sending an observer. I spawned at 5 and he spawned at 11. On my initial push, I went in and saw bunker with marauder and saw a CC building close to it. After my initial push, I wanted to deny him expo so I rallied up my units at his choke and to block him from coming out. I assumed his expo was at 12 which any toss would with a common sense would think. My observers were late and after seeing him not come out for a while, my biggest concern is him making drops to flank my units which could end the game instead of checking his expo. Instead of sending my observer to 12 expo, I made a pylon behind the rock from 1 and warped in a stalker to see anything. Argument from BioOrMech was, he always expos at 12 and he never got caught....
I went to their chatroom to explain my point of view to BioOrMech and their leader CuHz but they didn't want to listen and since I didn't play like how they expected, they just wanted to cancel the clan war after going down 0-3. I noticed on their clan war list, they have overwhelming wins but not losses. While I was looking for an apology for accusing of maphack, all I got from the clan leader was "I don't care about you and your nobody clan, clan war is cancelled". It's sad to see a good clan with good roster behave this way in a friendly clan war where there is nothing to be gained from winning. Hope they learn something from this.
Same thing happened to one of my clan members with JA where we were accused of being BM because our player stayed in the game when it was still anyone's game.
HOW DARE YOU PLAY IN A FASHION I WASNT EXPECTING HOW DARE YOU I WANT YOU TO NOT SCOUT MY HIDDEN BASES I WANT YOU TO NOT DO ANY OFFTIMING PUSHES TO CATCH ME OUT I WANT YOU TO JUST PLAY NORMAL. IF NOT YOU MUST BE MAPHACKING. OH AND MAPHACKERS ALWAYS LIE SO IF YOU SAID YOU DIDNT MAP HACK THAT MEANS YOU ARE A MAP HACKER AND IF YOU SAY YOU ARE YOU JUST ADMITTED IT!
some people just think that are top top shit and well use anything as an excuse to back it up. considering this clan had so many wins and not much losses could mean they do the same to other clans or they are actually good but you just beasted them and they cried?
oh i would love to meet these individuals in person, wont be so tough when they arent chatting through a computer
Sounds like ex-counter strike players, to me. Remember, if you're getting stomped in a clanwar, it's not because your team is bad, but because the other team is hacking.
I saw the replay and it didn't seem like there was any cheating going on. My only question is there was that part in the Shakuras game where you casted forcefield at the ramp (11:07) then less than a second later, a marine was about to walk out. It could just be a coincidence but I was just curious about that.
Sounds like the type of kids that would get all in-your-face when they win, but then pull the plug and disconnect (and not take a loss) when they were getting owned.
I read the other thread created by the guy who accused you of hacking, and his argument was laughable. He didn't like that you threw down a forcefield in front of a Terran's army on XNC. Sigh.
Some people just can't take a loss. Don't worry about it

Link please, would love to see this thread.
This is the thread that was posted from a member of Team JA.
Said my piece (peace?), thanks! I was going to be a bit more personal, but come to realize that the underlying problem is the hacking, but how the whole situation was handled.
Sorry that this happened to you. I watched the replay posted in the other thread, and you played very well. It's shameful that playing well drives other people to rage like that.
This sucks, but at the same time, by creating that thread team JA has gone from a clan no one's heard of to a clan no one likes. I don't think your credibility has been hurt by this
There were missing units from the Terran army, including a hurt medivac and some marauders that were there previously when he first pushed up the army.
I'd be interested to know if that was his reasoning (if he noticed them) or if there was just sort of a "bad feeling about it", which is an entirely reasonable justification for warping in just a couple units.
I know this can be very annoying but try not to get too frustrated about it. When you said, "It's sad to see a good clan with good roster behave this way" it just shows that they're not a good clan and they probably have a good roster because they haven't played anyone competent yet. Also from the looks of their arguments it's just funny lol.
You hit a sick timing and caught him with his pants down and was ahead after that and played smart. Guy never had a chance after ur first push. They got thier butts kicked and couldnt handle it.
there's this guy called JulesBatard, we played 5 times and he did the same cheese 5 times. Around the 4th time when was raping him he accused me of maphacks :D There were other cases too, in a hungarian team-selection tourney i was accused of watching the livstream after winning 3-0 (i believe the stream was delayed too, not sure though) that's how people are..
Thread was closed, OP was banned, you have been vindicated and proven in the right by the powers that be (as anyone who's watched the replay can obviously see for himself).
Don't concern yourself with the matter anymore, there's sore losers in any game. The positive thing to take away from this is that Team JA has shown their true colours to be unsportsmanlike, bad mannered brats that are quick to blame other's for their own failings - just sore losers all around.

No, to be fair, they're just feeling uneasy and bothered about the whole affair. I think the lock of the topic and the ban is sufficient. To diminish their chances is just haunting them with a situation that troubled both parties.
Wow don't let people like them take you a few notches down, call it star-sense or whatever but the fact that you did exactly what you needed to do to win means you have skill.
Thanks everyone for the support. Not everyone from Team JA was BM. Some actually whispered me and apologized for the team leader being bad mannered. It's sad to see the whole team's reputation being ruined because of couple bad people.
The general rule I've found with cheating accusations is that whenever ridiculous assumptions come out and it doesn't matter what because they are CONVINCED, then that means the accusing party is probably doing something illegal themselves.
Ok, so u guys post a thread on Battle.net and now on Team liquid,
i am the leader of Team JA and i apologize on JA's behalf for whoever was superbigfoot and posted the troll post thread on TL. Once i find out who posted this, he will be talked to.
You guys can say u guys beat us 5/0 i couldnt really care more about a win or loss in a clan war that isnt affiliated with any leagues, but for your team to constantly talk trash about our clan
rememeber, you guys were the ones who always come into our channel and start spamming negative comments.
I remember last clan war vs XPn, your friends came in and started spamming our channel, real mature.
and then after this controversy, the same thing happened.
I then decided to cancel the clan war and not have to deal with all this drama and un-maturity because theres nothing at stake here, nothing to gain but just drama to deal with.
Buddy, if anything, the OP was trying NOT to bring your name down.

Also, you shouldn't be apologizing for making a troll thread on Bnet or TL. You know what you should REALLY apologize for? Accusing someone of hacking and prematurely canceling a clan war. Now do it.

It wasn't about having a win record against your clan. This all happened when you guys stopped in middle of a clan war because your player accused me of hacking. Then even without seeing any evidence, you jumped to conclusion "hey they are a nobody clan and not affiliated with any league so let's just cancel the clan war". I go to your channel to speak to you privately to give any explanation of suspicious actions you find and whenever I would explain, you would just ignore and tell us to leave. I request an apology and you said "I don't give a shit about it anymore, just leave" so I left and wrote a rant here about it.
Only reason my clanmates were trash talking was because you guys jumped into a conclusion I was maphacking and your terran player said "l2p without maphack ok?". Yet, I ask you for solid evidence but you guys would just talk trash.
You coming here writing this post just made a bigger fool of yourself and ruined the reputation of your clan more than it was done. Hope you stop making a fool of yourself for the sake of your clan.

when did i ever accuse him of cheating, i questioned his forcefield, then everything escaladed by everybody. other members did accuse, maybe he mistook my chat line for someone elses.
and i would not post a troll thread on TL i dont waste my tim doing those kinds of things.
the clan war was cancelled due to the bad talking by both sides, there was too much drama so i cancelled the clan war.
i dropped the subject last night when all the bad talking by both sides happened, i cancelled the clan war to avoid more fighting.
whoever keeps posting threads on battle.net nd team liquids are the ones making it worse,
and again i apologize for whoever made the troll thread under suprebigfoot. that action will be dealt with individually but the posts ur team made after his post clearly shows ur out to bad name JA.
rememeber, you guys were the ones who always come into our channel and start spamming negative comments.
Sounds like they were well deserved.
ur out to bad name JA.
I'm sure all the team JA representatives posting on TL are doing a great job of that already. Accusing someone of hacking is not a trivial thing, especially when its backed up by nothing mroe than "he had good gamesense and outplayed me".
But yea, keep digging yourself a hole, everyone loves a good trainwreck once in a while.

No, it's actually you that's making this worse than it had to be. Don't blame superbigfoot. Stop being a tool and just apologize on behalf of your clanmates that you falsely accused him of cheating, like a 'leader'.
I used to blind FF always, specially my enemy ramp just so he know I'm there and to buy sometime. Accusing someone of hacking for that is just worthless and even more making a thread on TL about it.

i never accused u of cheating, i questioned your one play, that was it, everybody elses input nd assumptions are not my own.
i closed down the clan war because of the drama nd bad talking from both sides, not because of being down 0/3.
I'm not part of the "committee" or "leaders" of Team JA nor do I wish to be. I'm here to apologize on the behalf of the members of Team JA who were actually good mannered for the false accusations that some of our members made. I'd like everyone to recognize that while some of our members were out of line during the clan war they do not represent our team as a whole.
From my personal experience, most of our members are incredibly good-mannered in clan wars except for the occasional venting we have after losses. Most of the time these are done in private but apparently during these games they definitely got out of hand. As a team, we're quick to try and defend all of our members - however, in this case I only plan to defend the members that were not involved in this ridiculous drama.
I'm ashamed of our members actions, and I sincerely hope that this post shows the community on TL a different side of Team JA - one filled with great players that are passionate about SC2.

sounds like accusing someone of hacking cause youre down 0-3 sounds like a cheap cop out because you couldnt win a clanwar
Not only did Nullmind owned a whole clan by himself, but he single handedly destroyed their reputation, haha amazing. I'd be embarrassed to be part of that "clan" even if i wasn't part of the whole mess. Probably a good time for JA members to join a new clan.
