EPTToday has been a funny day... Every game unique in its own way... which is not as fun as it sounds. On a good note I didn't play twenty zerg in a row. Which brings me to my first question for any terran players reading this... TvT, TvZ, or TvP which is your least favorite and why... If you couldn't tell zerg make me cry,DON"T JUDGE ME!... I feel as though I just can't find a good way to counter banelings and mutas, at least not a simple fix... More thors and banshees perhaps but until my micro improves I am going to continue to hate the little green bastard...
I lost my first game, which is a common occurrence, this time was not because of the lack of speed I'm currently facing but my unreadiness to play a game longer then ten minutes. I don't know, I guess I'm not invested in to it until after I'm already pissed off at the game...... I need help.... I went for a more standard build and I destroyed his main but my macro was so terrible and my mind was so off the fact that he went and expanded to some remote location and was able to mass some mutas never occurred to me... :/
I have another question for any would be readers, why do players commonly put GL (good luck) at the beginning of the game?... Let me clarify, I started a game today and my opponent GL'd, which is great sportsmanship, so I GL'd as well but soon realized that he did not mean it... Nobody wants to be beat by someone with a stroke of luck... Hell most people even rage because of it. I'm just saying I don't appreciate the false advertising. Yes that means I'm lucky :D
Third I would like to ask your opinion on a specific scenario. Let's say your playing a Terran vs Terran match and you decide to 1-1-1 to a cloaked banshee... If you play starcraft enough you know that this leaves you susceptible to any kind of early aggression or timing push... What do you do if your terran opponent sets up a tank and a few marines in front of your main while you are a little more than half way to your opponents with a will-be cloaked banshee? Do you continue with the harassment and try to micro with what little units you have at home with some pulled scv's OR do you pull the banshee back to prevent the push?
Which brings me to my fourth and final question... What is the point of a gateway or cannon rush? Is it something you just do most matches or is it something you do every once in a while when your raging? I mean I know I shouldn't be upset about this because its is easy to stop if you adequately scout but still frustrating... your not learning anything from it, anyone can do a cannon rush and it's not truly an effective strategy..................And it really pisses me off when it works...
OK I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION, WHY IS IT THAT BECAUSE MY TITLE IS DAY 1 YOU BELIEVE THERE WILL BE ASIAN WOMEN.... I DONT UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!
