Right, so the label has been throwing me some remix work aswell, and i find it like a nice way to channel some creativity. My original productions is like my little babies and i need them to be perfect in every aspect. It easily gets a bit pretentious after a while, so the remixes is a nice opposite to that.
Fact is, they are quite insanelly different and experimental from my own songs that ive decided to release them under a different alias - my old artist name Starstruck.
Adam Lester - Silver Lining (Starstruck remix) http://soundcloud.com/kristofferelmqvist/adam-lester-silver-lining
Hazem Beltagui - Joyful Sadness (Starstruck Remix) http://soundcloud.com/kristofferelmqvist/hazem-beltagui-joyful-sadness
I also attended a proper mastering session at a mastering house for my track Cloudfinder today, which was a nice experience. The technicial commended me on my production skills which was nice. Im not really used to flattering
As usual, listen if you want to. /Kris

hahah knackerbrod isn't really a genre i've heard of, but this is some good stuff!
also, cool news about mastering man, a good mix is what i really judge artists on when i'm just listening on soundcloud and stuff so take it seriously.

sounds good ;] can i ask what sort of programs you use for this stuff ? Keep up the good work !

@dahornnn, thanks m8! Im a ableton live8 user with sylenth1 and vengeance electro essentials as my primary sound source. Hardwarewise im sitting on an M-audio Delta 44 soundcard with a pair of genelec 8020bpm monitors and a pair of senheizer hd 380 pro headphones. im also using a replica of the M-audio oxygen 49 keyboard.
@TheNessman, Knäckebröd is just swedish for hard bread, which is just a result of people bitching about what genre the tracks are, like if it actually mattered. As for the mastering part, yeah that was nice. got a bunch of new experiences today, and also got to know that im doing just fine the way im doing judging by my conditions (untreated room etc. I compensate alot with reference listening on different systems and outputs to get a better result, which i got complemented for)
