Preliminary idea for Mega Snake vs. Gatoroid: Take a drink every time one of the two female leads calls the other a bitch. Take a drink every time someone sees a monster and instead of running, stands there screaming. Take a drink every time there's a catfight and a male character just stands there and watches. Take a drink if a character dies through their own chronic stupidity. Finish your drink if one of the monsters takes down a plane again. | ||

Seriously, these movies are so ridiculous that they are borderline satire. I assume that SyFy is going for the shotgun approach for trying to churn out "so bad it's good" movies, though at what cost. Heck, maybe in the future when they have the sequel to Mystery Science Theater 3000, we'll get a very nice commentary on these ridiculous movies. | ||

My personal favorite cliches are.. 1) "Creature Cam" Whenever the group of racially diverse men and women are walking around in some wilderness, there is always a shot from the creatures "eyes" following the group, usually modified with some filter. 2) Only one male and one female making it out alive. 3) There are two possible endings for a movie like this 1. the monster really isn't dead and in the final scene of the movie, it zooms in somewhere and the creature attacks the camera, credits roll. 2. the monster had babies and they are the subject of the next movie. I've seen several occasions where both of these happen at the same time. Double points! Always a great time! | ||
