Man, sorry for stealing this (you can actually see this in the closed threads) but it is so fucking cool that it had to be revived and then plumbed back to the grave then bring it back to life again.
So here is a brief overview of the film please watch it!:
basically, there are humans exploring the depth of the ocean, so you know they'll find some weird ass creatures such as the Giant Octopus. Then the Giant Octopus tries to eat the cabin of a submarine and then came a fucking SHARK! IT GINAMOUROUSBIGINSIZE that it's really fucked up and bent on making a giant sushi on the freaking octopus. Actually the Shark had a thinking bubble on and said to itself "Fucking Squid, Me gonna swallow you hole Korean Style". After a brief background check they fight and they attacked a oil tanker and the Francisco Awesome Gate. (It's Golden Gate Right). then trailer ends showing some D Listed Actors.
Poll: Who you rooting for? (Vote): Giant Sushi (Vote): Mega Tuna
Is it actually possible for creatures that are used to the deep depth of the ocean to come up to near the surface? I mean... the pressure difference is huge. You'd figure the creature would just explode from internal pressure. Anyways, I'd vote for the octopus, it has so much more... finesse, than just a giant shark. 8 tentacles man.

Perhaps they are normal size but as the pressure lessens they gradually expand and only APPEAR to be giant.
That said, I've only ever seen one fight between a shark and an octupus, and the octopus fucking munched it.
I know that people no longer have the ability to write a big screen movie that's not based on a book or comic, so standards are low. But to actually go to a 4 year old for inspiration is really pushing it.
