An up and coming caster?

I have been following an up and coming caster named CatsPajamas lately and thought I would do my (very little) part in helping him gain some popularity. He streams quite frequently late night EST doing KoTH matches while involving his audience. His casts are done very professionally and I think you should give him a listen.

He is currently casting as of 9:05 KST 1-30-2011 (tell him I sent you)

Just jumped in his stream for about 10 minutes, he seems like he's got really strong play-by-play commentary, and his voice is quite excellent. He doesn't seem to stumble or have nothing to say at anytime, and his transition from macro/strategy commentary to excitement is really smooth too. Plus he's not super-intrusive like most commentators, so I like it a lot.

Not sure if it's his mic or his stream though, but the quality level seemed a -little- low, but it's mainly unnoticable unless he gets a little loud.

Thanks for sharing, I think his stream is pretty good. He seems pretty generic/useless in terms of analysis but I wouldn't mind listening to his voice for a period of time.

I basically just enjoy a caster who sounds professional. From what I've noticed is he doesn't really attempt to give analysis and I like that. If he were teamed up with a co-caster to provide the analysis I think it would be gold.

I'd say he's a very good shoutcaster (almost sounds like a radio talk show host), though he doesn't give much in terms of strategic analysis. I still prefer Chill / Day9, but he is certainly better than Husky.

Yes. I love it when someone notices hidden talent!
Definitely a refresher to hear a generally good and overall confident-sounding caster.

Wow, thanks very much Suspense. I really appreciate it, and just noticed this now.

To those who are curious about my style, I'm attempting to introduce exciting play by play coverage. I have no ambitions of covering in depth analysis. In a perfect world, I'll get paired with an equally confident sounding pro gamer who can analyze to his/her heart's content. I'm basically trying to approach the game much the way TotalBiscuit does by making games exciting and enjoyable to watch, not by trying to predict what two gas before cybernetics core is going to tell us about a Protoss player 25 minutes in the future. I actually casted the SC Reddit Open this weekend with Destiny, and the pairing of an analysis + play by play guy worked very well.

Speaking of TotalBiscuit, big thanks to him. Had a nice chat with him, and he is going to be helping me out with my equipment deficiency. So, I will have a nice new mic soon, to help with those quality issues people were talking about. I am a man of limited financial means, but I will be attempting to acquire a business internet connection soon for a little bit more solid upload speed/reliability.

Anyway guys, thanks again! I cast most nights (although this Friday and Saturday I'll be in Chicago with my wife, so not then), but please look out for me!
