I've been looking for this show for the longest time, and I figured maybe one of you TL'ers have a better memory than me.
We used to watch it in school, and it was usually some sort of nature documentary. When the show started it had a camera that flew through this big white corridor with big paintings on the wall and some of them were videos playing.
I know exactly what you're talking about, but I don't quite remember the name of it.
It might have had Discover in the name, though? I think I have some books by the same people, I'll go check to see if they're still there. I probably threw them out a long time ago, though.
OP instantly reminded me of a story in the scary stories thread where people are posting on a forum and one person asks about this show they used to watch as a kid and people start to say, "yeah! i remember that" and they keep talking about it and the details of the show get more and more gruesome as each person posts how they remember the show, like how the faces of the people on the show would melt off and stuff and eventually you find out that all these posters as kids used to watch static on tv and be very entertained and think some program was on when noone else saw anything...

thats not exactly what I was getting at lol.
but ughhh this is driving me mad, it usually only take me like a few minutes on google, but this isnt coming up with anything
Hmm I remember this too. The camera would pan across the wall and then slow down and zoom into "motion paintings", one of which was a guy playing a guitar.
Those documentaries were from the "Eyewitness" series. I remember watching those videos as a kid when I was in elementary school too. Good stuff; your post brought back a lot of memories and nostalgia.
