That means people who played like 25 games, got into diamond, then stopped playing probably have a pretty bad MMR. There's a lot of these inactive players. The more inactive players there are sitting at the bottom of diamond, the easier it is to get into the top 5% of diamond. That is, assuming that master's cutoff is the top 5% of diamond, and not the top X% overall. edit: for reference, diamond makes up about 7.5% of all players right now. Therefore top 5% of diamond = (.05 * .075) = .00375 = about top .4% overall. | ||
