I just spent several hours playing chess on chatroulette.com
It's not too often that you can ask a guy who's rubbing his penis whether he would care for a quick game of chess. Indeed there are very few people who on the instant are down to play some chess.
I am not a good player myself and it doesn't really matter because if you know the rules some basic strategic themes, a bit of opening theory and have a small arsenal of tactical weapons you are already somewhere goodin the 99th percentile of the whole population.
Today I played like 5 full games, with 4 of them being one sided rapes and one being a really cool game with me having a bishop and rook and him with a knight and rook. I think I was able to force a lot of things in the endgame and pulled off a win, but I took no record of the game, which is somewhat of a pity.
But that's not the point. It feels great to do something random on there and see people's reactions. I guess that's why there are all the wankers there, but come on, no one is really surprised or disgusted seeing people spanking their monkeys on there.
But a picture of a chess board a message "White to move!" and a welcoming hand gesture mad a lot of people to at least grin.
Well why am I sharing this? No reason really. Right now I'm going through the roughest times of my life so far and a simple act of randomness that puts a smile on someone's face is something that makes me feel a bit better.

Edit: On the subject of Chat Roulette..
I went to an anime convention in the summer, and there was a "Chatroulette" panel.
It was at midnight, so, no minors allowed. Probably a good thing.
All the guys would cheer when there were dicks and would be like "LETS SEE IT" and such to the guys who didn't have them out. The whole room(30+ people) got two guys to make out and such and just
It was good fun. 
Much like what the poster above me said, good thing no one was really innocent. XD!

I just started doing this tonight. 
Well I'm living in the GMT+0 timezone and yea probably late afternoons or something like that.
I will be leaving my university for the year and I decided that I'll use the time wisely and pick up some chess again.
Also I am well above 18 and I have watched porn and have a penis of my own, so I there's nothing really to get offended about there.

No no, I'm not leaving FOR University I am leaving my university for a year because of medical reasons. So when I go back home I'll be +2 GMT and that is now 10 hour difference.

I think when I last went to ChatRoullette and saw what it's like there now, I couldn't help but feel like, a little bad for the younger kids who go there. I mean, whatever guys have penises, but imagine being some innocent little kid and you go there and find some dude whacking off, wtf.

I never understood the deal with nudity and Chatroullette. Aren't people smart enough to recognize that there is almost no chance of them meeting a stripper when they act like a pervert?
Other than that, I really hope Chatroulette people improve their maturity to make stuff like chess a much more viable option.

haha I remember I went on chatroulette once even though I don't have a webcam/mic hooked up. I had a friend over at the time, and we were joking about how all you see on chatroulette is... you know. Guess what the first thing we saw was...
And I think that was when they changed the layout or something... it was basically a blank white page showing the video with a single text field for chat?

I think it's more because the site is a paradise for exhibitionists. Not to mention it has the same addictive flavor as the AOL chat rooms of old.
I'm glad you were doing something fun like chess.
