Oh I do believe in myself, but I for some reason I get nervous in situations I normally wouldn't. Like the first phone interview with them I was both cold as fuck and nervous because I kept hearing from the HR person that there's a lot of pressure these coming months (they're pushing out a lot of projects) and they're looking the best of the best. So during the interview I stuttered quite a lot, over-talked them (I was on speaker talking to 2 guys) while they were mid-sentence, and hesitant. As you can expect, I was surprised when they called a second time and said they liked my initial interview. On November 25 2010 11:30 ShoCkeyy wrote: Very nice, and congrats! I say they need a new website though, make it happen! Yea, seriously, haha. Working on their corporate website is one of the first projects I'll be tasked with, is what I was told. Nah, I'm not a graduate. I dropped out of college. Okay, that's a lie. I got disqualified from college. I was initially a Civil Engineer major. All my web engineer knowledge and skills are self-taught (I think that's why one of the interviewers was really interested in me because he was self-taught also).

Any M5 with decent options is going to run well over $90k and sometimes over $100k. That's just a ridiculous burden to put on yourself right off the bat or in 2-3 years. You would be much better off with an M3 though. And if you're buying pre-owned, don't forget that M5s are a bitch to maintain. Just my 3-series is a money-pit whenever anything needs to get fixed out of warranty. An M5 is much worse. Congrats though! Hopefully, I can land a decent job out of college and get myself the 1M I want. I could afford it now, but it would be quite a stupid move to do financially speaking.

When they hired you, they knew full well what to expect from a young, inexperienced but enthusiastic individual. Presently, I don't think they're paying you for the quality of work you produce right now per say, but for what they can make of you down the road after they guide you a bit. Taking you under their wing is something they're obviously prepared to do. I know you don't need it, but good luck man.
