Ok, I can already tell this is going to be a long post. I don't blog often because when I do I tend to write too much. Like waaaaay too much, you'll see for yourself.
So basically, I've been working at a hotel for the last 2 and a half months. 3 stars, outside of Milan we mostly attract people who are working away from home but still like the 1+hour commute and cheating couples. Since I got access to our customers' documents I can easily tell if 2 people who go in a room together and fuck their brains out are married, and when they do they're generally not married to eachother. You might think that it violates customer privacy and that we shouldn't browse through people's stuff but it's mostly what keeps us occupied at work. During night shifts I spend I kid you not 6 out of 8 hours watching LoL streams with no sound, since after taking bookings and sorting data the job of a receptionist doesn't do much else. I gave rooms to people from the chinese mafia and 'ndrangheta (mafia from calabria, a region of Italy), and mostly that helped me clear my views on federalism.
So, basically unless you're a misanthropist that's not the job for you. Luckily for me, I have a little aspergers and have been annoyed at everything, the universe and mostly life since I was 8, so staying there with free internet and getting paid is a walk at the park for me. The only thing I really care about during the daytime shift is checking out the girls we get and at the shift change chat about them with my coworker who is a total bro.
So today, I got pretty lucky. First I get a Tunisian girl my age with a really fine body, blonde, a little short, juicy round ass and only speaking french. FML I don't speak french. I speak german, english, italian, spanish, can understand dutch and portuguese but don't know shit about french. And that one is gone...
Next, while I was being content with what the day had offered me a fucking stunning czech blonde comes in. And she had reserved a room for 3, which I see are all girls. Unfortunately when the other 2 come in none of them came even close to the first one, but that was good enough. She must have been 1.85 tall, I'm 1.90 and was barely taller than her, thin and tight body like the models you see when walking around Milan, perfect eyebrows, lips the kind that are perfect without any lipstick or gloss. She must have been a model or something, it would be a shame if she wasn't one.
But the most ridiculous thing is that none of the girls I've given rooms to in the last 2+ months have been nearing the beauty of my girl coworker. Shes 22 or so and I am 99% sure I have a crush on her. First of all she tries really hard not to be a bitch, which is an extremely common feature for the girls in the town I work in. Im turned on by both bitchy girls and girls who contain themselves, so this one is a perfect match. She's 1.60, brown hair, guidette tan but no guidette makeup or perfume (we already have to deal with trannies and she doesn't want to look like one, perfect.), really thin, borderline anorexic some would say. The best thing? She's flat. Not flat as a board mind you, but the kind of flat that you can talk about work or something completely boring and uninteresting and your eyes won't slowly roll to her boobs and inadvertedly stay there for the whole conversation. So she's hot, great body, normal height, is a bitch but not to me, I can talk to her without the risk of looking like a pervert and... yeah. I love my job.
Btw I got my first Korean customer ever, there is no korean community in Italy except for the fashion student groups in Milan and one really expensive Korean restaurant, so it was pretty nice to finally meet one. In Italy no-one other than cloud and a couple other morons know about e-sports so I'm pretty much stuck living my passion on a website (<3 TL!) and it was interesting for me to meet someone who know what I was into. Not saying that the guy knew who sAviOr was or anything, but I was joking and tried out a few korean words I got from Artosis interviews, (BAD MOVE! DON'T EVER TRY THAT YOURSELF GUYS!) it turned out that 수고하세유 meant cheater or something, and that 감삼니다 meant gesundheit instead of sorry, so all I was left with was 안녕 to greet the guy with lol. But the really satisfying part was that when I told him I was into korean because I liked progaming he laughed and explained to his colleague what progaming was on their way to dinner. Granted, he didn't think about it as a real job or anything, he was a 40 year old working man, but he knew what I was talking about and explained it to another guy, which all in all was the most awesome thing that happened to me in a while.
On the next blog (coming as soon as I find my fucking camera): -my 2 month old kitten Messner -my konggajima tattoo, and the responses from all of ACE's twitters, and if yellow doesn't answer I'm going to bombard him with tweets until he does-.-

Italy is a country that has always been traditionally split, not only into counties but mostly into north and south. The south being the state of the church (literally, what is now vatican city used to rule over all of southern italy) and being left behind tecnhology-wise since the illuminism in the 18th century. The south of italy is where all italian immigrants throughout the world come from because the south has always been traiditionally poor and had been trying to utilize the mediterranean sea as a resource. In the early 20th century right before WW1 they realized that about half the fishermen in the mediterranean would die before reaching 40 years of age, so that's when they started trying to catch up with the rest of italy. The stereotypical Italian throughout the world is the italian from the south, very catholic and family-centered. People in the north have been minding their own business since forever, ask anyone with a complete knowledge of the western world and they will tell you that in the world the one city whose inhabitants resemble newyorkers the most is Milan.
But on federalism, basically the idea of giving each region more individual power like germany did has been floating around for the last 20 years, the only real factor stopping it from becoming reality has been the fact that the political party to bring it up has been the most retarded racist morons we have, so basically the idea is good, but the people advocating it are morons and they end up making the idea look bad. The people of italy are just too different from one region to another, I don't hate, or despise anyone from other regions mind you, but for one I seriously can't comprehend the Italian that people from naples speak, which is troublesome for my work. Neapolitans are also the ones who try and cheat and run without paying, the city is hell on earth for anyone outside it but the influence of the mob is too strong there to allow for any change to be done, most political figures in charge of towns or magistrates in the south have deep criminal connections and would want anything but the place being cleaned up.
Edit: on italian politics being "interesting"... Italian comedians are not allowed to make any satyre during elections (including regional and city elections), which dulls their repertoire a lot. Fortunately for them, what our prime minister does is enough to let them make it to the end of the month: 2 top solo comedians have switched to reading the headlines of the news, and THAT is their comedy show. And by that I mean that 2 separate people on separate broadcasting stations had the same idea, they just read the news headlines and they manage to be so outrageous and insane that they end up being really funny.

Pronounciation is what cripples me, I can read simple french just fine but french vocalisms change too much on the same letters for me to understand.

your Korean is weird. the first means like you suffered well or suffer well as a statement, which is a literal translation meaning in English that try hard, or work hard, which is supposed to be a good thing, has a positive connotation. Second word does is spelled wrong but the sound is the same(ish) and means thank you not sorry, and not gesundheit.... 3 word is hello lol.

I thought I knew that aswell, but Italian being my 1st language messes up the way I recognize vowels A LOT unfortunately, so I'm always mixing the ㅏ, ㅓ, ㅗ sounds because ㅓ doesn't exist in italian. We have a buttload of accents aswell, just not the same as koreans.
Wish my computer typed Korean, but yah the difference between the 2nd and the third vowel is difficult to differentiate but most time they understand through context and conjecture. I still have trouble speaking them different with like 2 years of Korean language study.
I've heard people try to say hello in korean a few times (one said he used to be stationed in korea in the army back in the day), and I had no idea what they were saying until I figured out their pronunciation.

the first time i met koreans was while at university in my second year in 2002. earlyish in the morning, last 16 of the world cup when they were playing italy. it is surprising to say that just watching something on the big screen was one of my best uni experiences, but it was, mainly just because of the reaction. the fanbase was pretty much 50/50 either way, and the polarisation of everything was hilarious, especially given the way the matches turned out. so much fun.
