I got 2 guinea pigs that greets me every morning. I wake up, they start talking - most likely for food  Would never want to see them go.11 years is sick long . That's how old they normally get? | ||

 He didn't even want to stay in her lap and had rather hobble off back into the woods. A couple days later my sister found him outside beside our house. I guess in his last moments he wanted to make it back to where he felt most at home. I really miss him. | ||

I was in the room when my family had to pull the plug on my uncle...now that puts some real perspective into death and loss. The weird part is that since that time dealing with the loss of other loved ones, being people or animals, has been much easier and taken with much more understanding. Sometimes we are happy that the animal is out of pain and released, but no matter how we look at it, it boils down to the fact that we just miss our friend and companion. I hope things are well and just try to be glad for all of the good times and love that your pet brought to your life. | ||

what helped me a bit was this: would you rather have lived your life without the pet in question? would you rather have gone without all the happy memories? all life ends sooner or later and that is something we all have to learn to deal with. be sad for your loss, but don't think it wasnt worth it. | ||

my girlfriends cat, whom they had for over 10 years and i knew for 3 and a half, died a few weeks ago too. this is really really sad T_T | ||

Rip little buddy, hope you are somewhere better now. Pretty sure he would prefer his bird cage, just saying.. ;; I agree. My cat is super smart and he comes inside when I call his name but when he isn't in after 5 minutes of calling his name I think the worst. He comes in late and I frown upon the little guy :3 | ||

I lost my childhood dog a while ago and it fucking sucks. But Little Buddy is in a better place now. I'm sure he's up there in parrot heaven squawking his ass off at this very moment! Hope you feel better soon :/ | ||
