I've been using a really simple one without arm rests or any real back support and since I sit at the comp almost all day I feel like there is a direct correlation between my shoulder pain and my lack of arm rests on my chair. My right arm (mostly tricep and bicep) along with my upper shoulder right above my collar bone on the front and backside have been getting sore the longer I play. So I'm wondering, does anyone else share similar aches and if so do you know why? If you play in a chair with arm rests do you get these pains or not? Just curious because I'm thinking of buying a new chair tommorow so post what kind of chair you use and how comfortable it is. Thanks :D
What type of chair do you use?

My arms are supported by the arm rests while I write, except for the left one which has to move more to the right because of the keyboard position. But using the left hand on the keyboard and the right on the mouse let my arms rest on the chair's arm rests perfectly. Edit: its a cheap chair, and there must be better ones to buy though

Though the chair is cheap, I find it to be quite comfortable from a gaming point of view because it doesn't allow me to slouch so I have better posture when I play and thus can play longer.

It has special mold fit and air circulation cushions to minimize comfort and distractions. Its in a sleak green and black coloring, has headrests. And best of all, it comes with APM technology! Considering how much it helps me beat non-gaming chair users, it was a real steal at $299. Its like hacks, but undetecable

Actually it will vary for each person, but for me the arm on the keyboard fits perfectly with the arm rest, so no problem, I can use the hotkeys with my arm rested. What might bug you is the arm rest of the side you will be using the mouse if you move your entire arm. If you do like me and only move the lower half of the arm to move the mouse, then there wont be any problems at all. You should try it before buying though.

The folding chair has almost no padding so I folded a towel and placed it on the seat to keep my ass from being sore with how often I'm sitting in it xD I don't really get sore arms from this chair. Can't say the same about my back though

+ Show Spoiler + A generic chair with armrests, i usually increase the height of the chair once i game to have my arm in a 90 degree angle. But yeah, I have to use a Hukpillow, cause the padding is giving 'way and I'm feeling screws in my ass... yeah. Besides that, my arms are fine.
