Say how many hours blizzards brainstormed the ideas to put out the perfect product which was recognized in the foreign lands of Southern Korea where high speed internet was blooming. And then SC2 came and it is even better with expanding to foreign scene. Actually once you write it, blog it. Or at least send it to me via pm, i'll be happy to read it. Just put some love in it, show your passion. gl

Touching a bit on the game design/balance/etc discussion is probably also necessary to introduce an unfamiliar reader.

Dampen writing with the "SC2 is a HUGE success" mentality because while the sales numbers are impressive for a PC game, they're considerably smaller than the bestselling console games, and RTS has become a niche genre in the last few years. I'm going to comment on this, and hopefully relate it to the OP. Starcraft 2 is HUGE, like it's frickin' big. People that I had never thought would play are playing, and a lot too. Not only playing, but also following the e-sports aspect as well. Like pretty much everybody knows who IdrA is, pretty much everybody has heard about at least one of the following: GSL, MLG, or IEM. A surprising amount of people know about teamliquid.net, and these are just regular people on B.net. Don't be surprised if Starcraft 2 gets really big, maybe not tomorrow but within a couple years or so.
