Wow that looks like a really basic, old fashioned mouse. I'd expect progamers to have these badass mice. Even a logitech G5 or something. Maybe it's just comfort? I probably wouldn't take that mouse for free lol The mouse market is a gimmick, and the keyboard one is as well to some degree. Mechanical keyboards ARE better. But you don't need some gimpy 300 one. A good middle-priced keyboard with cherry mx swiches is fine. For RTS, all you need is good tracking and decent dpi. You want high dpi in this case because anything over 6/11 with windows settings will kill the precision. You also want to keep the ingame sensitivity as close to 1:1 as possible. I just bought an Intellimouse 3.0 and it is a very good mouse, but I regret buying it. My old Logitech m310 (though wireless) is smaller and has higher dpi, and the tracking is just as good. Though for fps I would recommend the IME 3.0, for rts, most pros just use good small mice. Screw the razers. I saw WeMadeFOX Moon spamming apm with his fanzy razer and he still lost. | ||

But that has something to do with the DPI and stuff, along with the "I'm used to it" comfort. | ||
