I believe the wave soldering ovens used to manufacture things like GPUs apply the heat directly the the side of the PCB where the soldering is happening, rather than ambient heat like a home oven. Also, the heat is probably much more intense and applied just long enough to solder without heating the whole card to 100++ degrees (more like a soldering iron would be). | ||
