Great post, and I will back the entire LastShadow thing he is a great player and really nice person. Sure he has had his moments, but then again who hasn't? There was a time when a 1v1 was accidentally started as 2v2, which leads to "fixed" spawn locations. LastShadow was next to me watching the game and broke out a joke like: "omg map fixing, we have lastshadow in the game". I haven't laughed that hard in a long time, great guy. He also isn't afraid to not play as Terran; he whooped my ass as Zerg even after I landed a few nukes and wiped his army and a base! That takes some seriously good mechanics.
Oh and how about we show Gretorp some love? Very high level player and didn't really treat anyone as just a scrub. Also, I'm pretty sure it was his Birthday and he drove at least 4 hours to play SC2 at a LAN; now that is dedication.
Lastly everyone at that LAN was amazing; without a doubt the best LAN event I have been to.

That deserves a separate blog entry in itself, Rob ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif)
Nick's definitely a very dedicated individual with a passion for SC and if he finally picks a goddamn race, he's gonna go far imo ^^

i was the one who was hacking spawn locations btw (even though i did not host the map lol) and yeah LS good guy at the lan, nothing bm about him during his play or durring the lan. If you had questions he would answer as well.

I think thats one thing I loved about LS is that he'll just talk to you, he'll shake your hand and be your friend, he's very knowledgeable about what he does and is just a really good guy.

Gretorp is Gretorp, therefore every post is love for Gretorp by default.

It was more about the way he conducted himself, played everyone for a fool AFTER multiple chances to reform, and just the amount of ridiculous drama surrounding everything that has been associated with him. That's my personal take on it. I haven't met him irl yet, maybe he's a nice guy, maybe he really has matured a lot and come a long way, good for him if he has. Doesn't mean the whole of TL will be forgiving though. ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif) And SadistX - ^_^, except I don't ditch you guys out of malicious intent, just real life stuff combined with bad timing. For what it's worth, my wife actually really wants to come to the next meet just to meet everyone. ![](/mirror/smilies/puh2.gif) Haypro cheated and we like him, lets sign him onto the most famous foreign team in the world and pay him $$$
Haypro's situation is completely different to that of Lastshadow's. He improperly used the Oblivion hack only once and there were no other instances of him using the hack anywhere else. He took the ban from the scene and has come back stronger than he was before.
Lastshadow, however, was a repeat offender.

only posting this because its my understanding o.o but
ls' rigged maps were never used competitively, they were just used in practice, not cw's, not leagues, not ladders, all the rules on both gg.net/tl.net seem to only be against cheaters using them competitively (yes i know he basically got his name out there by using them, and beat many top players doing so, and basically deceiving them).
after that there was the wcg incident, in which LS admitted to nesh shortly afterwards and him/nesh became friendly(dunno how long xd) but these both happened within the same year LS was still being a faggot (he was 14? or just turned 15?)
and iirc his TSL incident, he didn't abuse, he shared an IP with his friend corey(moonrai), who did have kawaii give him free wins, i remember reading the posts or whatever, and it was that kawaii gave moonrai freewins, and LS/Moonrai had shared IP's.
his apology was years ago, and many people told him to prove it with actions not words (especially since when even i read that apology, i thought it was bullshit, and just because he was caught, and probably, it was bullshit, because of his age, and being so worried/anxious about everythiing).
so he cheated in wcg/rigged maps non-competitively. he never hacked, he was proven clean several times with the flag method, iccup admins releasing hacker names, and constantly providing replay packs at the end of every season.
he's played in a dozen+ lans in the past two years, and constantly done extremely well, and been extremely gm/outgoing. he even helped me in bw, as well as many other players, giving them games etc.
testie hacked how many times? trek hacked how many times? did g5 also abuse tsl vs mistrzzz? what about all the REAL tsl2 abusers? the ones that actually tried to steal a very large sum of money from people, by abusing? none of them get anywhere near the same level of shit LS did.
he's admitted to all his faults, mistakes, and purely being an idiot. he even said at the lan when people brought up his past "yeah but i was still a fucking douchebag and bm on top of the cheating here and there."
many people advocate for him, because he's one of the very few top players that constantly help out newbies and give them advice/let them obs his games.
any other player who would have constantly had doors closed on them, and opportunities taken away, as much as LS has, probably would've quit, and yet here he is, still pushing through the flame and shit, to show he's different.
just my two cents o.o

Yeah, I guess in the end it comes down to the fact that, from what all the admins/mods have seen it is completely unfeasable to reallow LS back into team liquid, but to us to have met him we might feel a bit differently.

ls helped me practice for TSL2 under a smurf for several weeks before telling me but u really dont need to unban him cuz kamul will just post everything for him anyway

eah posting is one thing and Kamul has been warned for letting LS posting under his account... but as long as LS is banned, he will be unable to play in tl events. I'm in no position to unban him, but as far as him as a player in all the tournaments, he is a very competitive person and well mannered like Luckyfool said.
(btw kawaii see you at mlg soon! yes? )

Reason: LastShadow's puppet account. Previously warned and clearly doesn't give a fuck.
Hmm, didn't see LS post on it, looked pretty obviously like Isai posting but i guess they traced IPs or whatever?

Kamul has been posting for lastshadow for the past year. All through the wcg thread and elsewhere.

I first met Lastshadow at that LAN long ago where LS, orb, slogg, and I think a few others crashed at my place.
I'll admit that my first impression of him was that he was a spoiled, arrogant little shit of a person. After the weekend was over, my opinion had changed little. That's been my prejudice from day one, but he's been surprising me lately.
He seems quite different now though. He's pretty chill, a fantastic SC2 player, and generally just friendly to everyone. He's also totally open about his past, which is quite redeeming. I think he's changed, as he seems genuinely nice these days. Personally I'd say let him back, but I understand that TL has too much history that I never really read up on, so what do I know.
Anyways, a great LAN overall! Whoooo!
