They risk their lives fighting in a war so YOU don't have to go. These men and women deserve the biggest respect in the world. Especially the ones that have lost their lives I may not support the war but i 100% support the troops going over for me. The ones who go over are great people for the most part. Iraq/Afghan soldiers my heart also goes out to them. In the end no one wants war. The people who sit in front of their computers all day need to show some respect. They do an amazing thing out there. Also XsebT don't try to moderate report this thread if you deem it a "bad thread" don't moderate yourself it's disrespectful. I don't pay attention to the youtube thread because most of it is garbage anyways. Besides I also noted their wouldn't be much content in the OP itself because the video speaks for itself.

Learn your lesson US and stop sending people all over the world to die in vain. God, I hate this kind of spiteful idiocy. War propaganda? No, war propaganda is showing heroes being decorated in medals, receiving parades of glory, war itself being honored. You are sadly blinded if you confuse the honoring of war with this. It's a celebration of a moment that represents pure elation, the closest representation of hopes fulfilled, ultimate fears repudiated - not over war, but over the reunion of families. If anything it indicts war; these people are ones leaving war. It's most certainly not about war, the only significance that war plays is that it emphasizes that reunion the more since not only where they apart for so long, but that very may well have lost their loved ones forever. "Why is it so special if kids are happy to see a family member that they have not seen for a long time?" - the fact that you have to ask this shows how sadly and/or myopically you do not understand the real point.

Anyways, for those of you condemning our soldiers as murderers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_rights_in_Saddam_Hussein's_Iraq. That's what they stopped. The main problem is that Bush didn't handle the cleanup nicely, the Shiites still want power even though they are the minority, and the Sunnis hate the Shiites because of everything that Saddam has done to them.

The main problem is that Bush didn't handle the cleanup nicely, the Shiites still want power even though they are the minority, and the Sunnis hate the Shiites because of everything that Saddam has done to them. Both of you, thank you. Some of the posts in this thread just made me sad.. "saluting murderers"? Really? I can understand that people can't stand the United States. And I can especially understand people greatly opposing this war, which seems to be going nowhere. But saying this is war propaganda is pure comedy, and making that statement shows that you don't understand the point. Also: sorry to mod's for reporting hifriend's post haha, I completely misread it at first and thought he said something completely different than what he actually did. Sadly, he makes a good point :/
