Do they know why you broke up?She probably didn't tell them because its too embarrassing that her boyfriend is addicted to a video game and she can't accept it.

She's not the one for you. There's plenty of fish in the sea, and if she can't "deal" with that you play a game she can s a d yo. Gl to you, you'll be just fine.

Then after about a week or so she realised that I was in fact STILL playing (off-hand post on facebook from a friend -_____-") but she realised that comparing herself to a game is just stupid...and that when I was playing without telling her, she couldn't tell the difference =P

Just to make you feel better honestly, breakups are very normal, and they are usually both people's fault. There isn't much you can do about it, maybe just learn from it. I feel better knowing that I don't regret the failed relationships I have been in, they made me much more knowledgeable about women. I'm pretty strong now. Currently trying to approach this one girl, but not taking it too seriously, just spending time with her since she's fun to be around. Taking a casual approach, and not getting ahead of myself, I learned my lesson in that department. There might be lessons for you to learn. If she really did break up with you over "starcraft 2" which I take to mean "playing wayyyy too much starcraft 2 and not treating her as a priority" or "getting in her face when she lost or played badly in a game of starcraft 2 with you because you forgot the game is all about fun essentially". I don't know what happened, since you didn't give any details, but I doubt it was because you have the game, bought the game, or play the game on occasion. There is a couple I know where the guy is pissed off at the girl right now because she's playing TOO MUCH WoW. Now whether or not she plays to much is debatable, he's also a jobless retard who just clamors for her attention night and day, and it's pissing her off (he's 28 and she's 19, srsly). She feels like she isn't allowed to do anything but just hang out with him all the time, he's clingy. That to me is the real problem, not WoW, yet she acts like he's saying WoW is the problem. I gave her the third person perspective and she is understanding it more now. Hopefully they can talk to each other like human beings again.

If you already wanted to break up with her before you started playing sc2 then you can be happy but if the breakup was mainly caused by sc2 and you actually like this girl then that's awful and you should feel like shit.
