There was a study done, saying if you played video games within 8 hours after the trauma that you experienced, you'll forget most of it, or just when ever you think about it, you'll feel numb towards it. I found this to be true when my grandmother ended up at the hospital, and I put the theory to the test. It's pretty much a blurry memory.

It can appear that they are fine and coping with their disease, but really they are on the verge of suicide like this and no one has a clue. Hope your family is doing ok.
