EPTIm trying to record some things using Guitar Rig and asio4all, now from what ive gathered asio4all takes control over your sound card and you cant use two sound applications at the same time, but without it the line in latency is horrible, so I cant play in guitar rig and have a track I recorded earlier playing at the same time so I can get them in sync. Ive had no problems with this while using Xp, but from what ive read windows 7 changed how it handles the audio.
Now im wondering how I could play my earlier tracks at the same time while playing in guitar rig, best ive figured so far is to record the first track, convert it to mp3 and put it on my mp4 player connected to a set of speakers and then play it, but id rather no do that if I could figure out some other way, so if any of you have some tips or ideas, I would be very thankful.
Sorry again for a tech support question, but ive really had my heart set on doing some recording this summer with my free time, and this is killing me.
