The other day, me and my friend were playing 2v2, and I disconnected like halfway through the game. He was still able to win though, thank god. I like how in SC2, you gain control of your partner's units if they leave the game. I wish there were some way to reconnect to a game after you D/C though.

And yes phoenix, you do get control of his base/workers

then its a 2v2 but you need alot of APM lol.

Its not exactly just a 1v2, as you start out with 2 bases due to having your partners. You actually have a really good shot at winning if you defend their rush and turtle to units they cannot stop. I have a 45+ min game where my partner drops early on, and I go on to crush both of them simply because of the massive amount of resources you can work with. It just comes down to expanding and turtling, while making sure neither of them is able to take more than just their natural. If you can expand, and turtle, its not that difficult to run them dry.

Same thing happened to me and I won, not a big deal, really. He was Zerg, I spammed drone, I expanded and used his money only for my Protoss army. The only problem is that you don't see your ally supply.

It's actually very useful. If the multitasking is hurting you too much, just treat your ally as an expansion.

How can you outmacro two players?
My strategy was just try to win as fast as possible before my small advantage went away.

Happend to me aswell, but that was during a costom game, still a great feeling coming out on top from a 1v2 situation.

Honestly my ally used to drop every hame ish. But i liked 1v2s. They were hard but you almost have a small advantage of not having to worry about what your ally is doing, you just do whatever YOU want. Eventually i won a few. Feels gr8 tho
