so i recently bought a Zune HD 16 gig for 150 (it was a steal imo) its beautiful, its touch screen is amazing and the whole setup is simple.

but i have one problem with the zune HD. when i play a song, i get a black background.

the latter has the artist profile in the background. anyone in TL know how i can configure my zune so that i have a picture on the background of my zune for every song/artist?

GL with the zune. they have like zero support for anything.

there wasn't even korean character updates via language packs so I certainly doubt you can do something that customized with them

I said the insurance thing btw cuz my zune froze on me probably once or twice a month where I couldnt reset it and had to let the batteries die before recharging it where it would be fine again. it did that for about a semester before freezing completely and dying on me.

but that probably won't happen to you. maybe.

The black background is because of no or little information of that artist is in the zune software database. There is a hack that allow you to customize the background and biography for artists. You could try leave the zune connected for a quite because when there are no syncing actions going on, the zune will analyze and create connection between artists which are related to each other for the smart dj function to work and also it will begin downloading pictures and information of the artists when it is not in use too.
