Another problem is that it requires registering, so you'd need to pay for it or do something else....

Run FLVExtract, drop the FLV file on it. You'll get a .avi, a .mp3, and a .txt (probably - if you get other formats don't worry, just use them in the instructions). http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/downloads.html#windows Run mkvmerge gui. Drop the .avi and .mp3 into the Input files window (or click "add" and add them). If you get a warning here about FPS let me know because you'll have to do something extra. Click on the video track in the Tracks, chapters, and tags window (it'll say "type: video"). Down the bottom of the program click the Browse button next to Timecodes and select the .txt file that was extracted. Click the 'global' tag. Tick enable splitting. You can either specify individual timecodes to split at in 'after timecodes' - IE you want 9 minutes in, 20 minutes in, 29 minutes in you'd do "00:09:00,00:20:00,00:29:00" or have it auto split after a certain time using 'after this duration' - putting "00:09:00" in there will split every 9 minutes. Hit start muxing. You'll get a bunch of mkv files split at the time points. Should be able to upload those to youtube.

http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/marketplace/index.cfm?event=marketplace.offering&offeringid=10201&marketplaceid=1 http://richapps.de/?page_id=120 It's simple to use: Load an flv file, click the keyframes tab on the right, and set an "inpoint" and "out point" time from the timestamp column. Then choose Export - FLV.
