***Before you ask who it was-- it wasn't any of the people I mentioned in the video. I was just using them as examples of how many GREAT casters there are out there.
Well its semi-obvious who you're talking about. Amongst the big commentators out there you basically only left one out
edit: Loved the ending of the video btw, how you make fun of yourself after raging so hard in the middle. Gonna subscribe but if you pull a dick move on and blocks me you can be sure that I'll make this exact video raging on YOU! UM DUM DUMMMM*
I think it kinda sucks how stuff as fan-based as SC2 casting has become a bit more about making money/becoming youtube partner, asking for donations, asking for money for casting equipment, asking for money for an "SC2 computer", etc.
So you're mad at (probably Husky since he's the most famous guy who you didn't mention) for having a knee-jerk anti-advertising policy like pretty much every other top Youtuber out there? You're mad because he didn't carefully consider your case? Mad that he didn't peruse your channel and try to get a sense of whether you deserved to be blocked or not, and, after a long deliberation, make a well-informed decision?
Grow up, man. This guy (whoever he is) probably sees so many spammers and advertisers trying to leech off his views that the motion of "delete-block" is probably engrained in his muscle memory by now. For you to take this personally is to show that you have no perspective at all.
No guys, it's nevake!!! TL raped him, it's all true T_T
Yeah, it's probably husky lol. Kind of a dick move whoever it was, some guys just wanted more starcraft coverage that someone's hit channel didn't provide enough of (probably cause the people have already seen all the vids or w/e) and a guy was helping out with a bit of self promotion. No one would bitch about this if he linked another "famous" youtuber, be like, hey, check out day[9], here's a link. Always stomping on the little guy.
Dude your hilarious, if you bring this much enthusiastic to casting your starcraft vids, (hell even if its only a small portion) you gotta be good. Subscribing asap.
haters gonna hate, Post here and Sc2gg to help get your self known.
I agree a little with motbob in that the typical gut reaction by any youtuber is probably to mark spam to anyone advertising their channel. I think a better reaction for you would be to message the guy and explain things instead of posting something like this. Still, I feel bad for you =( ... unfortunately SC2 casting has become all about youtube popularity and getting money from it.
As a guy who gets a lot of random msgs, emails, PMs etc etc.. it is really hard to consider each persons situation as a unique and important incident of integrity. That isn't to say it's an excuse.. or that gives anyone reason to treat others like shit but the person (Husky?) deals with LOTS of people and when doing that sometimes the context for something gets lost to them because their picture perhaps is a lot larger than yours in terms of who they deal with.
That said... youtube has people leeching each other ALL the time. It makes sense that one channel would want to stop that from having. He probably does that DAILY with people/organizations that have less sincere intentions than you do. Sure it would have been nice for him to msg you and be like "plz don't" but at the same time he is well within his reasonable rights to STOP you from doing more... he doesn't want/need to take the time each day to "warn" 30 posters doing exactly that.
Take it in stride, try to understand.. and msg him explaining your situation. That of course is probably fucked because in making this video you may have burned that bridge already.
Next time calm down and try and realize that martyring your small fish syndrome with a video is a terribad approach to a very reasonable situation.
dude r u really complaining that someone deleted ur blatant advertising from their channel, wtf?
imagine theres this giant carnival and one of the most popular booths at the carnival was a guy lets call him Hal Husky was really good at painting widgets. mad people watched this dude paint widgets man he was popular at it. then some guy named Mikey Ranter walks in front of him and goes yoyo check out my booth, i paint widgets too. and Mikey Ranter would run to all the popular widget painting booths like Ken Klazart and Sir Diggity and Chris Cholera started doing this. and then when Hal is like dude, i don't appreciate u blatantly advertising ur widget painting stand in front of my widget painting stand, Mikey gets really pissed and freaks out.
ok all of u right now r probably like baller wtf r u talking about? well imagine the "carnival" is "starcraft 2" and "painting widgets" is "commentating" and "widget painting stand" is "youtube channel" and "widget painting stand watchers" are "youtube subscribers" and "Hal Husky" is "Husky" and "Mikey Ranter" is "LittleMikeStarCraft."
do u see now? "oh shit baller that makes so much sense" u say? ur welcome.

The problem with this is that your 100 subscribers already subscribe to HD, Husky or whoever this is. Casting is serious business.
Actually it is once you make youtube partner and start earning money as well as have enough influence to ask for "donations". I have no doubt that HD and Husky make a decent amount of money off their casts nowadays.
Edit video. Make it about 2:10 instead. Keep the end scene. Yeah.... then spread it around. Shoulda editted first man.. shoulda editted first. You blew your ee han timing. What a noob.

I read it more like 2 people standing by said I have every widget Husky, er, Hal's made, anyone got some more unique widgets? Mikey comes up and goes, yeah, I got some in my stand over there. Guess I'm more sympathetic.
I don't know where the link came from but I think I saw your bnet names youtube video a few days ago and was curious why there were cuts every 2nd word, can you really not finish a complete sentence or is it for effect because I find it really annoying
I'm not really seeing the problem here. He advertised on someone's youtube account and got blocked and the comment deleted. Assuming that it is someone famous they probably get hundreds of comments on their videos. Is he scouring each video in case someone posts a link to their channel? It's his channel and I guess he can do what he wants, I somewhat understand blocking, but banned from his channel? Seems a little overboard.
As for leeching, what exactly is he leeching? Viewers? It's not like they're providing something that people pay for, so what's the problem with some people leaving your channel for someone else's? Is that person so insecure that he's afraid to lose subscribers? A little ridiculous if you ask me.
The best was the one guy who didn't even give out anything. I don't know if it was HD or Husky or that InReach guy who were all basically equal in their subscriber whoring.
Just offer a free ipad or something and then give it to someone who doesn't actually exist, you'll get tons of subscribers and I can continue to not care about anyone who does anything on youtube

Why do people continually make stupid analogies for things that aren't difficult to understand? Do you think anybody had a hard time understanding both sides of the situation here?
Every thread on every forum is filled with people making analogies for no reason. Man, analogies suck.
lolol funny video. It's just luck of the draw, like certain actors or musicians making their big break. Take KevJumba for example. He was one of the first people (I presume) to make rants about random stuff and post them. Therefore, he became famous. Now, you can see a ton of Asians making video rants like him trying to become Youtube celebrities. It's all politics.

ur wrong, good analogies like mine help every1 understand better. imagine ur a guy who lost his legs in a war. and ur brother was in a horrible mugging gone wrong. and the government contacts u about a special project he was working in -- ur bro was a phd of behavioral science and was also an astronaut who was going 2 be sent to another planet to interpret with the natives there bc the planet has a lot of useful raw materials. the government has been working on these special suits called avatars which are dna of the natives, called the omaticaya ppl, and that of a human. they ask if u would be willing 2 help them since ur mind and ur bros mind r the same. imagine u accept this offer, and travel several years to a lush wonderful planet. ur conscripted by the marine leader who says he'll get u ur legs back if u spy on the natives instead of just do sciency stuff that ripley wants u to do. but it gets complicated when u fall in love and realize that u might be fighting for the wrong side. but u fuck up and blue cats think u betrayed them and ur only hope is to become turok makto, who united all the tribes. without that great analogy u would have never understand how to defeat the evil humans. do u see now why good analogies r necessary? thx.

Why do so many youtube people do soft cuts like that? It's just a trend? I've always hated it and makes me not like watching 90% of the popular youtube vlog type videos.

Sucks how this video will likely get more views than all the other vids total that he's made. Also, the guy is about as funny as James May's analogies (can't touch Jeremy Clarkson's though).
Actually who am I kidding... James May is hilarious.

and if your casting is as incoherent and bland as your ranting you wouldnt get viewers if ogn advertised for you. calm down.
Oh IdrA, how can anyone hate you, you are awesome<3
I watched one of your videos after reading this thread, in the video, you said you were a pretty good terran player in BW. So I went and watched a couple more of your videos, you lied. I watched you play BW and SC2 and honestly you have the mechanics of a D- player. Why is a D- player trying to get famous making bad commentaries and raging when someone blocks and deletes your comments for advertising?

1. He is everyone's fan. 2. Someone posted 'where can I get more SC2 videos?' on Husky's Youtube page. 3. He posted 'check out my channel.' 4. That comment was deleted and he was banned from Husky's page for advertising.

How he got blocked from some Starcraft Youtube channel for pimping his own and how the person that banned him should've checked out his channel instead of assuming he was just another spammer. Then he tries to end it funny at the end but fails. Oh and he says fuck repeatedly. I hope that gives you a jist of things.

Oh ok. I guess I don't see the problem. Want to advertise your page? Contact Husky about advertising fees....
People like iCCup TV and HDH are trying to make $ off this to turn their passion into a career, you have no right to leech off their popularity.

I was wondering if I was the only one catching on to this theme. Hasn't he already had several posts closed for this same reason?
Edit 2: I am actually sort of surprised that the mods would allow some punk with 16 posts (almost all of them self-advertisement), come in and title a thread calling an established poster like Husky a dickhead......
1. There's a spam link next to all comments. People click them. 2. Google auto-deletes comments it perceives as spam from Youtube by analysing your posting patterns.

You're mad someone won't let you take their viewers? You can try and claim you would do differently if you were a big name on Youtube, but you wouldn't. You want to keep your viewers in your channel and no where else. Stop trying to pull the "for the good of SC2 & esports" nonsense card when it's obvious you're just trying to get attention and subscribers like everyone else. What person with 100k subscribers would let you advertise on their channel for your what 100 viewers? That's stupid and ridiculous.
How are SC2 casters on youtube allowed to become partners, advertise on their videos and make money off of a Blizzard game?? That is totally against the youtube partner policy isnt it?
