Is it just me or does his voice change a bit through out the song? The first verse seemed really hoarse and insecure until the last line "To cherish every moment of life". Then his voice really unfolds, and not just in the chorus. Coz then in the second verse I was like "MJ? WTF!". Basically, it sounds really good, both intrumentally and vocally, with the exception of the vocals in the first verse. ...It's not my kind of music though, but I'm just trying to judge it objectively.  | ||

Its not that radio friendly it doesnt have a chorus and it starts slow and with an acoustic guitar, if you listen to it on the car its hard to listen to unless you are in a expensive car.. As a single it dosent follow the rules to be a hit, and certain things dont make it so radio friendly, dispite its friendly and soft tone as a whole.. I have written some songs and usually the ones that are the most remembered by my friends are the ones I am less proud of cause they are so formulaic and they follow these rules, i sing them cause everybody sings along after the first time they have heard it.. but hey if he makes an album ill listen to him.. its not my kind of music but i have produced a friend that played things like this.. Hope he gets airtime.. and he is better than most of the pop out there... | ||

And perhaps even add drumbeats and add the base feel earlier in the song. | ||
