I waited so long to play the SC2 beta again, and for some reason, my computer won't allow me to play it.
I am using a laptop DELL INSPIRION and for an unknow reason, it keeps ALT TABing everytime I use a full screen application. I ignored this problem until today, because now everytime I try to play the beta, the computer automatically ALT TAB :/
I searched on google and I found a lot of possibilities on why this is happening, like a virus or a plug in, but I don't know how to handle this kind of situations, specially because I suck at computer stuff. Any help would be apreciated

I have had the same problem, answer one question, do you use skype?
|
Yes, I have it permanently open, because it is way easier to handle in that way. Could it be the source of my problems?
|
Well, when I experienced this problem I realized it only happened when I tried to use a full screen app after having opened skype and then closed it. So like I would get on skype and then end my conversation, close skype, try to play sc, auto tabs out. If I tried to play with skype still open, or before opening skype at all, it would run fine, only if I had had skype open this session but then closed it. Does that make sense?
Anyways, never figured out what was causing it, just learned to always leave skype open in the background if I wanted to use a full screen app.
Maybe try restarting and leaving skype closed and then playing, see if that works.
Edit: I think it has something to do with the little box that pops up in the lower right corner when you receive a message on skype, because that pulls me out of full screen apps. (and so does hitting capslock because I have a little message that pops up in the lower right when I do that as well, which sucks.)

inspirion 1545 Ok I I'm getting sick, i would like to thank my computer for begin annoying in the worst moment posible. Thanks for the help so far.

Are you running win vista? or windows live messenger? I've noticed the same problem on my computer and the few ideas that I have are the above software causing these problems. Yes its exceedingly annoying but the alt tabbing hasnt screwed with my fullscreen apps so far yet (thank god)
