Hey guys, some of you probably saw my previous blog if not its not hard to find.
Not much has happened besides the family has gone on holidays so im stuck with 7 days without both my mate and her. This isn't really meant to be a whine fest but i'm going somewhere with it!
So, usually i work like a dog for someone of my age (24 hours or so a week) but this week work were like 'Hey, you get the week off until saturday!'... Saturdays the day they come back.

So its seems i'm left without anything to do.. I used to power game alot and just try and get really good at one particular game (I'm looking at you Counter strike 1.6/Counter strike: Source) and I have this inflated list of steam games I bought but don't want to play since the one thing that i'm doing is gaming less and spending more time doing RL stuff.

No work. No Best mate. None of her. No Starcraft 2.

Im going nuts guys! I've being playing some guitar (but i'm not good and don't think i ever will be) and watching Breaking Bad but i have NEVER felt this bored. EVER.

To be frank, i'm the sort of person whose always miserable, i have a tough life (but im not going to start that, theres worse out there and i know that) but the last few days are unbearable. While i get brief conversations every few days with my best mate and occasionally her, im going nuts.. I feel wrong on the inside, like a belly ache but its not pain just discomfort, except its being ongoing for days.

My parents have noticed and are suddenly worried about me since i sleep for ~15 hours a day, which is ironic since i'm a notorious owl since we have sleep apnea that runs in the family so i usually only get ~7 or so hours of sleep a night.

Can anyone make any cool suggestions? I need to lose weight, but its pretty fucking cold where i live right now (~0 degree celsius until 10am and after that its not much better) so i don't get to do much. But yeah, any cool suggestions? I've being watching Day9 and stuff like that so ill rule that out right here and now.

EDIT: according to wikipedia i suffer from:
1)psychologically created physical symptoms, such as upset stomach, change in appetite, insomnia, dizziness, and confusion
2)stress - high blood pressure, pain in chest and heart, acute insomnia; sometimes brought on by a "crush"

Work out in a gym or hang out with some friends? Granted, you might end up playing videogames with your friends, but hanging out with friends makes it more about the friends and less about gaming, as opposed to gaming alone.

Read a book, or learn to do something new/cool ^_^

Affording a gym is difficult for me. Its something i keep trying to afford but i cant really consistantly afford it otherwise i'd be there 24/7.

Oh yeah, i want to but all my of gamer friends all went down different paths (My RL ones) so its hard to identify with them. Half of them don't even see me as a nerd anymore because as i near adulthood i grew up alot quicker than they did. They still do the stuff i wish i could still enjoy like DnD etc. Do you get what i mean?

one day i was super boored, so i had a friend of mine drive me to a city near mine (about 25 miles) dropped me off at a book store, and then had him ditch me. I bought a book (this was in the morning of course) and walked home. would stop at benchs like bus stoppes or on the wall next to a side walk, this kinda thing when i'd get tired and read my book (got though about 6 chapters total) stopped to get food once.

total time? about 5 hours, i walked slowly and ate for about 20 min. I actually enjoyed this so much, ive done it several times since at different cities in my area (i live in a nice area, low crime rate/clean etc)

anyways, after reading your post, i felt this was atleast somewhat relevent, and hope it gives you something to do. and its good for your health , you did say it was cold, though i guess

Nice ^^
I did something similar once except i live in a city where its too small to be metro/main city but its too big to be anything else.
I once just bus'ed to the other end of town and walked home doing whatever, stopping occasionally and sitting down etc.
It was a fun experience, but it was in summer and took me most of the day since i just randomly took detours.

Yeah. In that case, try learning something new/cool? ie. coding,

I get bored out of my mind all the time, but I just waste the time by watching stuff / playing games (which is part of being bored out of my mind).

Since you seem poor and it's cold and you don't really want to game... yeah, you seem to have few options XD. The time will pass eventually. Since your parents are worried you could ask them for some money to do something fun? Otherwise... yea, learning how to code/cook or something.

try learning something new. i'm always learning new stuff. checked off guitar, drums, somewhat piano, all thems sports, right now i'm working on learning tae kwon do and krav maga (working on getting those splits, pain in the ass), clinical hypnosis and body language (want to be a psychiatrist). you can play poker, i love it, online or with friends. and remember the all powerful resource, the internet, it can get you all you need to learn whatever you want. it's served me well over the years.

and can't afford the gym? pushups and situps are free and they'll work a lot of your upper body, especially if you learn all the different types.

make sure you keep that mind busy and you may feel better. stay positive.
How's the weather down there?

I work at the local MacDonalds, we aren't 'poor' persay, but i know my parents can't fork out money all the time, usually i have to pay my money back tonight.

I've actually being cooking a bit lately, i've found it 'meh' but still better than anything else really. Yeah, thats my main issue: I got lots of things to do like gaming but i really dont want to. I might be going to the movies tonight, some old friend from school just txted me saying she wants to goto the movies. Should be fun, any interesting hobbies anyone can think of?

I mentioned before i actually have/play guitar, but i'm awful at it. After 3 years self taught i still sound the same as i did last year, which isn't really that good. I still practice every day for around an hour at least, but i don't make much progress even if i focus.

MPC is pretty fun though

lool. I'm a bit like that with piano. Minus the practicing part; I only play every now and then. Just learn new songs then =p. That's the only way to "practice" really if you're self-teaching. Unless you want to be legit and practice the guitar equivalent of scales or something? lol. Learning new rhythms, etc. opens up the door to "being better" and being able to play more stuffs.

What i mean is that 1 year ago i couldn't really pull off 3 notes properly (In tab that would be 15p14p15) and still i can't do it today, exactly the same. I still can't play harmonics quickly enough for it to matter (I can play one properly if its JUST that note but when its in the middle of a song i can't manage it). Things like that, its not my head playing tricks its clear/obvious stuck in advancement.

I want to play piano, except i'd have to buy a keyboard, start having to learn how to read sheet music properly beyond Every Good Boy Deserves Fruit and FACE etc.

Dunno if you have an electric or acoustic guitar but you could maybe try singing? If its an acoustic, you really only need like 10 chords to play so many songs and I'm sure you're not terribad to the point of not being able to learn whatever chords you might need. That can kill a shitload of time (would be best to try to find a way to hear yourself so you can work on improving);

If that's not up your alley, make consider learning a language? I know a guy who knows like 15+ languages to a decent degree and its totally awesome.

Edit: Electric guitars sounds alright too, they're just not as totally sweet.

Electric, im a metalhead.
I can butcher the Japanese language! I learnt it a bit a few years back but languages never quite appealed to me because of my family background (They are all EURO except they are illegal immigrants who plead ignorance of Australian Social expectations for their own comfort)

Ooh, I love butchering languages. Sadly I haven't learned to butcher a complete language quite yet, though I can kinda butcher my way through French because of the whole Canada thing. But yeah, I just love talking to people with english not as their first language because they make silly mistakes that are hilarious. So I try to learn a bit from them so I can be the foreigner and sound funny.

The ultimate test of someone's english is to get them to read the word "Leopard."

ya i don't recomend either of these. sometimes i have to force myself to go do somthing, even if i doesn't sound fun at the time. Just doing stuff all the time and not sleeping more that 10 hours can help improve your attitude
