We need a one syllable, badass sounding word that is synonymous with 'attack', so that push can stop being the go-to word.

Edit: That said, thesaurus.com says that 'push' is synonymous with 'attack'.

A thesaurus gives very context-sensitive suggestions. I highly doubt they considered broodwar inspired starcraft terminology when making the list of synonyms :p

none of this is even as bad as all the people branding broad builds as "the X build" i've already seen tons of people call one base muta "the sen build" and in a cast from husky or hd (can't quite remember) they called 15 pool the "idra build"

i think that the entire sc2 forum should close for 3 days. we could get some peace and silence around here- it would be an extended vacation for the mods- and even better, maybe some of the sc2 superawsomeupandcomingpros would leave

and for things like 'hellion pushes' which you quoted, well you push the zerg back to his natural + queen so 'push' feels appropriate for that, same with 'marinemedic pushes' and such in BW
