My God, I'm losing my mind without beta and I have to wait for a month to play the live version of Starcraft two 
Yes, I know for a fact at least I'm back to doing real life stuff but this is driving me nuts! I'm like staring at TL.net and trying to look for some cute thread but it's not working anymore! I've already seen the latest in the Random pics and checked who's recently banned but no! my insatiable hunger for Starcraft 2 has made me berserker asdazzdqweqwsdas...
I've already finished the multitask trainer while playing terran on Normal mode, maybe a little bit of playing it on hard mode may satisfy me but that wouldn't help because I would love to play with some BM noob, who's only in copper league then he gets his ass ROFLSTOMP while he whines like a little 2 year old girl.
I'll end this rant right now, but really, I'm very addicted to this game

It's interesting that you got hooked like that coz in my case, after Beta went down, I realized I wouldn't suffer all that much if I never touched SC2 again.
On the other hand I do get the urge to play BW every once in a while.

I had a really great time during the beta. On the other hand, the last week I actually "waited" for the beta to go down so I could have a valid reason to go back to Broodwar.

Have you tried LoL? Been playing that and that shit is addicting. I swear to god that if you give that game a chance (it's free) you'll like it. It knocks hours out like its nothing. 45->60 minute games so fun so much to do.
That and modern warfare 2 :D,

Eh, I felt pressured to try and play as many games as possible during beta to take advatange of the special opportunity. It was a bit of a relief when it went down, but now I am itching to play again so I think I am in the same boat as you now OP!

yeah... I started playing LoL when the beta ended and now I've played like 100 games... it's addicting, not as good as starcraft, but BW is just so damn hard after playing SC2, and LoL seems like it'll help my micro a little bit.

This is exactly the same way I feel. Since the beta went down I've been re organizing my life and realizing I spent way too many hours playing :|

when the beta went down i decided to go outside since i wont play bw anymore and i couldn't do anything else.

SC2 had the effect of making me way more interested in broodwar than I was when the beta came out. Earlier that year I'd put some real effort into iccup, but my interest wained after a bit. SC2 reminded me how much the first game had to offer in comparison, not that sc2 is bad. I'll probably continue playing both at least for a little while after 2 comes out. Don't really understand why you're hurting so much for sc2, when BW is basically the same game.

League of Legends has saved me; I picked it up the night SC2 went down- no DotA experience, no nothin'. I still love it.

I played a few games of DotA, I absolutely hated it, I picked up LoL thought it would be the same, but I'm already 20 games in and i haven't hated the game yet its a good boredom kicker and its a good way to quickly waste a few hours.

I've been playing Age of Conan. It's actually pretty fun since they fixed all the bad stuff from launch!

I wouldn't say tall skinny people are naturally good they just have an advantage >.< takes less skill to be a good tall ball player :/. But in other news, plenty of worldcup! the US Open gonna be on too ^^

My posts per week has dropped like crazy since beta ended. Didn't help that my computer also died, but I have no real motivation to get a new computer until beta comes back. ;P

I just got my new computer like a week after beta ended
I never got to play beta much because I had to use my brother's computer, and I had school and work.

I keep trying not to remember that beta is coming back soon... I'm really enjoying actually having people to play BW with again. but soon SC2 will be back and then it won't ever be this easy to find a game again.

It's been said before, but I've been playing BW since the Beta hiatus, and Im glad to have it back. As during the beta I didn't play much BW as my friends only wanted to play SC2. But now that its down we've been playing tons of BW together, just like old times.
Though Im still excited for SC2
