EPTSo good that I can't keep it to myself, and I just got that sick htc phone so taking pictures is real easy. Should I make a food blog? Poll at the end!
Today's meal was mexican food (Normally I cook delicious indian food but when I'm between shopping trips I check out local food if its not too expensive. The place was really cool, really good atmosphere, the kind of place where mexican dudes walk around swaggering or staggering as if to say, I'm either drunk or a motherfucker, you want to find out which? And the girls look you up and down when they see you because you're not hispanic like everyone else in the joint and then the guy next to them shoots you a dirty look. And the jukebox is playing old time mariachi music that is so aggressively happy it lifts your mood.

I had carne desalida (I think?) which was shredded steak, onions, peppers, and egg (I think?). Despite my uncertainty it was great food, lots of interesting textures though I feel like the egg gives it more the feel of a lunch dish.
Oh well. Still delicious, and the kind of mealy consistency that is really easy to load up on; with the variation of flavor from the black beans and rice and the totally different texture of the crisp salad sitting behind, it was real good. And the tortillas on the side were fluffy and delicious too.

a bowl of raisin bran while the rice was cooking, salad (baby spinach and orange slices w.italian), brown rice, leftover indian fried chicken from the day before, brown rice, yogurt, cranberry juice. banana crowns it as midnight snack
