While this is to be expected (SC2 has been played for 2 months, basically), I'm still suprised how far, just being able to use the UI well will get you. Simply by being able to make and control units as in BW, that can get you to gold. Does any one here think think that the divisions will "un-inflate" once SC2 goes public? Like getting and staying in platnium will actually be a credible achievement? For the record, I got 1700 ELO in SC2, but for the life of me, couldn't get past D+ on iccup. | ||

When you get promoted to gold, you lose a few hundred points, and then lose a few hundred more when promoted to platinum. I imagine your 1300 silver would technically drop to roughly 700 platinum (give or take a hundred pts or so) | ||
