Hey all,
This year, I joined AePi's new colony at Wesleyan University as part of the Alpha Pledge Class. It's currently a small group of 13 guys, and we're trying to figure out how best to stay in touch over the summer on a day-to-day basis.
We all have Facebook, but there's too much clutter going on for us to really keep in touch easily. What social networking sites would you guys recommend and why? Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

why do you need to stay in touch on a day to day basis? working on a project or something? anyway, depending on your reason for needing constant communication, google wave is an option as you can have a bunch of people essentially posting to a forum thread with edit access.

why does it have to be "social networking"? Try ventrillo.

Skype works great..
You can do stuff like conference calling if you want to see their faces during conversation.
|
You also don't need to know servers or own a server, save vent for games and Chappy that creepy mofo who socialists women into his private room inside of vent.
Skpye works fine also can video chat do homework that way :D

What me and my friends do on Facebook is one of us will send a message to everyone in our group of friends, then when you reply you reply to everyone. It functions exactly like a thread in a forum, except only you guys can read it. When you reply it replies to everyone. It's what we do to stay in touch while everyone is away at uni.
