there's more interest in this than I originally thought, that's AWESOME. After the May lan I'll think about putting together hiking plans for sometime in early June if that works for people.

No, studies show that girls who - I believe - live together (or who are constantly in proximity of the other for long periods of time) can get their periods at the same time. Their bodies adjust to one another and become in sync.

Hmm I might be able to get in on this. I like the idea of other TL events like bowling and stuff too.

Now that I think about it, you think there's enough DC/VA people interested in poker to do a TL poker thing too?

If you don't bring non-gamer people, a day hike ends up like 8 hours straight of talking about starcraft builds. Uninterrupted stretches of idle conversation combined with people with narrowly intersecting interests. It's not as severe when you have something occupying your attention and concentration.

I love hiking, it's always magic experiencing a new summit.
Living in the Sunnmørs Alps of norway i've always spent a great deal hiking and skiing
And apparently we have some of the most beatuiful mountain ranges in the world here.
The whole Mountain top right down to fjords feels kinda overhyped living here though.
