Rules are simple, disciple is busy with a few other projects and although my Photoshop skills aren't that bad it's not good enough for what I need.
I would like someone to create a 800x800 image that works with a white background to use as a splash page for StarCraftMecca. The page should contain "StarCraftMecca" and somewhere on the page should be a "Forum" and "Store" text (which will be made into a link later).
Deadline is May 8, 2010 at 6:00 PM MST and I will need the PSD file and the font that you used for archiving purposes and so that I can add the logo. The color scheme should follow the one below but the style does not have to be exactly the same.
I know that there are like a million keys floating around but I guess theres more than just the beta key here as far as a prize goes, your work would be used for a few months until the new site is up and maybe some other stuff if I can think of something. ^^

i think your PS skills are pretty good as they are haha why don't you just do it yourself. i'm not sure if i could do something like that myself unless i consulted a video first hand haha. anyways good luck with your contest and website thing mabob.
Edit: Question. did you do that picture in the spoiler? or was it made by someone else. if its is your work then i'm pretty sure you have what it takes to do it. if not i'll try to help out in anyway.
Oh Hmm. then i'll give this a shot then haha. working on alot of stuff really helps me boost my PS skills :o i learned like. alot this whole week than what i did in class x.x haha about PS that is keke. i'll be reposting my stuff in this post so be back later haha ^^
Oh and o-o What kind of background are you going for. lol i' need a general idea of what you might want in the picture its fine if you give the beta key to someone else i already have one haha i just want to help out ^^ my turn to give back to the community ^^ because i joined 2 years ago and barely started posting now haha.
Background doesn't really matter as long as it relates to what we do I guess? Kind of like the one in the spoiler you see the buildings and whatnot represent that it's some type of company and the logo looks like a globe so it means we are a worldwide company ... hahaha at least that's what I think disciple meant to say when he made the logo and banner.
haha alright then i'll get working on it now i'll try to post it tomorrow in one of my post here so i don't waste to much space haha ^^ ! i'll be working on it now.
Edit: yeah crap totally forgot about that. i need to find pictures that arent on the internet sort of. maybe x.x Damn you copyright laws D: i don't want to get burned sort of lol. i'll try my best to figure that one out.
Edit: o-o You'd think when they say Free Stock photos it would be free but after signing up. >.> they said do you want to pick this package or this package for blah blah blah 10 dollars. x.x this is harder than i thought haha. i'd rather not have anyone get into legal troubles over this so i'll try my best to find non-copyrighted images by tomorrow hopefully.
Edit:.i'ma wait till tomorrow x.x rather sleepy now.-looks at clock- I've put into a folder. the fonts I've used so far as well as the work in progress i haven't use that many external sources. but i'll swap some stuff out tomorrow. anyways i'll do the best i can. Cheers. i'll post the finished product here in this thread as well as the zip file containing the original .psd file aswell as the font files. i'll keep updating my progress thru this post o-o

You should notify that you will in fact be using it for commercial purpose if you are putting it on your website, and all the legal yada yada that goes with that.
Well I guess you could use CJ's logo but it's kind of a generic splash page so I don't see how it would fit in there (especially since it'll go up AFTER the CJ sales are finished lol).
1st tell me what a splash page is! Secondly I love to use PS and I would gladly do this if you answered the above question! Aslong as there is no coding involved on my end I can try!
A Splash screen is like a page you goto before entering a website so create a page with some stuff on it really simple.[i should be asleep] uh about it with google haha best bet there. i cant really explain stuff with my fried brain. anyways. the more the merrier with more people comes better results ^^ or better splash screens i should say. haha alright off to bed with me.

Here is something I put together. I thought I would throw something simple together and at least show it to you since I think that your site is a great idea and wanted to try to help out. Your logo will replace the StarCraftMecca text, probably. I am able to send you the file if you choose to use my image.
No one will ever have a PSD version of anything SCM related Aside from me and you of course. Sorry about the late reply on this but like disciple I had a computer issue and I'm still fixing all the damage on my computer lol
