Bomb Scare in Times Square again.

Disregard China10252 Posts May 02 2010 12:33 GMT #1 IIRC, last year someone set off a explosive device in Times Square near the Army Recruiting station. Some street vendor sees smoke coming of the vehicle and alerts the cops. This time they found a amateurish bomb in a Pathfinder on 45th and 7/8 Ave. It was "defused" before anything could occur. Bloomberg and NYPD said the bomb was intended to create a large fire. It couldve been pretty effective considering the unseasonable weather yesterday, it was like 85+ F and with some winds. Everyone pushing and shoving, STAMPEDE! Its also pretty fucking hot today, and the humidity on top of it is disgusting, cant sleep in this weather. I dont have my fans or AC cleaned or set up, its too early. Anyway so the explosive device consisted of... Archaic United States4024 Posts May 02 2010 12:50 GMT #2 Who ever said defuse kit isn't worth it... EDIT: Is there any suspected origin for the bomb? Or is it just that some people felt like blowing stuff up. EDIT2: There are no immediate suspects or motive.
