Soo.... as you might know I wrote a blog in the summer of 2009 about me going into university.
Well here's a little update. I finished my last exam on April 26th and I officially finished first without failing any courses (yay).
It was a definitely a good year, I met a lot of people and coming out of an asian community really broadened my horizons a lot. Getting work done can be a challenge but I some how resisted the urges of playing video games during key times, and it doesn't really help that I had my gaming PC there the whole time (bad idea). Overall it was a fun year and i have no regret in going to the school of my choice.
Second year starts in september wooot I can't believe It'm saying this but I can't wait to go back and finish my 4 years BSC in computer engineering.

Me too, almost! Just had my LDOC (Last Day of Classes) campus-wide celebration yesterday. We had Jay Sean, Rooney and etc. It was sickkkk but I have a brutally massive hangover and two important econ and stats finals coming up. FML.
Congrats on your first year though

Did the ever finish the Queen's Center and how is it? Did they allow Homecoming? Did you go? How was it? Are you 19? Did you go out much? Is the Ale House still #1 place to go out (I assume not)? Is Stages still shit? Is Filthy's closed yet? Is the Brass still kicking around? Did anything new close / open?
=) I haven't been back since graduation but my homecoming is next year so I'm going to go.

Morris 3 Eng floor
I live on Aberdeen right outsisde the queen's center lol
Yaa it's finished and it's so awesome i work out in there a lot
They semi allowed it, but tons of cops on aberdeen, and in 10-11 year they are ditching the cops idea cus the cops were really bad making arrests out of nothing and the students were really mad at them. The important thing is we still purpled and rushed the field.
I didn't go out much i'm still, but i got 21 gun salute done this year and going for wizards and century club next year I'm pretty sure legendz got closed and there's a new place called the spot that is opened and a lot of my friends go there. As for ale house i'm not sure about that i just know a lot of events are held at that place and that's about it, i guess i can find out next year. But i probably will just be going to rituals.
*as a note*
grease pole time for sci 13:
3 hours 43 minutes 31 seconds also I guess i can post a pic of my jacket as soon as the bars are done

I can answer some of those, last I checked Grizzly Grill, believe it or not, is no longer only for cougars and middle-aged men and is the most popular bar in Kingston. Filthy's been closed a long time now. Stages still a rats nest lol Brass is still kicking for sure, same as always Joy Supper Club is the new place I guess, I haven't been inside but it's definitely for the youngest crowd
I think the Queen's Center is finished. If it's what I'm thinking of, the new squash courts are really nice.
Oh and there are probably a shit load of new asian restaurants since you've last been to K-town
