Coming to Terms
Magnanimous, I free my serfs. The best Abandon home and hearth without delay Like migratory swallows. Sadly, they Envision no return in fairer weather - Perennial pecuniary hooks Await beyond my fief for men of skill. They leave me with the birds of drabber feather, The simpletons, the shiftless, and the crooks.
Enraged, I lash, I slash, I slay until Remorse sets in awash in freshly dead. No man remains. With peasant blood impure, Bereft of my subordinates, I tread Alone amid my desolate domain, Lamenting: Lo! how fallow lies the plain Deprived of human labor and manure! No sooner than I utter this, my men, Embracing earth no longer, rise again - Still simpletons or thieves, but I am blessed, Secure with some, at least, if not the best.

Clearly neither of us are intelligent and/or educated enough to critique this poem.

Its about the farm owner freeing his serfs and hoping to still retain the good ones, but losing them all. He instead has to get some really dumb fellows to till his fields and stuff. Then, he kills all of the new, inferior workers but watches as they turn into zombies.
TL;DR Russian serfdom = zombies
EDIT: haha I was completely wrong, but I'll just leave this post up for the lols

Hilarious.
Did you write this yourself? Where did you find it?

I got no clue what the metaphorical meaning is, thats just what he was saying literally.
To be fair, it could mean (metaphorically) a million different things, depending on the reader.

Yourefired: It very clearly means one thing, but I'm not going to spoil it for anybody, even in a spoiler tag. You can pm me if you want.

it means male pattern baldness
the poem is badass though

Yeah, it's my own. Had a lot of fun with it despite generally loathing acrostics - what better way to use a pretentious device than to mock oneself?
For the lazy, + Show Spoiler +it's about going bald and shaving my head for the first time. Obviously overdramatic in places.

I still like russians and zombies

Not overdramatic, because + Show Spoiler + is about as emotionally damaging and painful as you make it sound. I like the poem :D
