If this is true then I'd imagine both Yellow and Chojjaa would have done this in the past. Julyzerg too; his match vs pepe in GOM was especially suspicious. Effort is a possibility also considering he started losing all kinds of matches; he easily could have just got worn out though. In other races Jangbi maybe? I assume Sangho and Upmagic were removed for this reason. Bisu even too; he has lost some fishy tvps over the years. If Bisu is involved then Best would be too most likely.

OK one thing I don't get though. How much are people really betting on these games? I thought most of the audience for starcraft was teenagers who don't really have any money to gamble with? Are there a lot of rich Korean guys betting huge sums on these games, enough to make it profitable to give out 20K bribes?
Can't believe I'm still here playing this same game

Flash so rarely loses, but then there were those 'no turrets wtf?' games. I doubt his parents, whose consent I assume he would have needed, would have agreed.

minors need their parents' consent to make illegal deals?

it doesn't have to work like that

a betting site can offer a line on a match that in a fair non-rigged match it would be common sense to only take one side of the bet

like they could offer a superior player 1:1 odds against a huge underdog

the mass public will all run to bet on the favorite thinking it's a sure win

then the site pays the favorite to lose, keeps all the money -- it's not so unfathomable with millions of viewers that they could get 10,000+ people to all bet 10$, and thats 100,000$

even though the sites are already illegal and shady, and those sites could just steal people's money, it's much better to do it this way because it keeps people betting cause they never realize they are being scammed.
why so 진지해?
