TL is run by people of integrity. Just because you contribute for them doesn't mean you receive preferential treatment to the extreme, and it's one of the things that makes this site such a great community. When they got the CJ shirts, they didn't just hand them out among themselves, they opened it to the community, when they got the beta keys they didn't just secretly dole them out if you had a forum star or red in your name. No, the guys who run TL are profoundly invested in their community, and they know that they receive things for them to give to their community. I wouldn't have given this place my services as a writer if I didn't believe in their integrity and support it whole heartedly, so I've been perfectly happy with not being on the receiving end of any special treatment (and indeed I support it being that way), because I know that I also have the appreciation of the community as well as the staff, and hell, I just love Starcraft. It's about the game, and while a beta key would be nice, I can certainly live without. | ||
