EPTI play this on the PC. The game itself is pretty good. Multiplayer has some balance issues i'd say, but overall it is a fun game to play - when you get to play it.
Lets start our journey like the player, in the game lobby.
Game Lobby:
Before you even begin playing the game there is a myraid of problems which really are frustrating. All of these problems i mention are from personal experience and sadly STILL OCCUR ALL THE FUCKING TIME.
I honestly believe that this online system works 65% of the time, which is lower than what i thought earlier until i had a game session last night. We'll get to that later...
So what can go wrong in the humble game lobby?
Well, when you are in a group, even in a group of 2 it is an unreal hassle.
My friend and i join a bigger game lobby. One of us is kicked out, "Unable to join host". Ok that may make sense. So we both have to go out, regroup and try again.
We join another one. "Server full" for one of us. Well thats pretty stupid, how about finding a game that has 2 spaces or more?
Back out back out.
Rejoin.
Karachi? Fucking Karachi I DO NOT WANT TO PLAY THAT FUCKING MAP.
Why can i not play the content that i want of a game i have bought? Why is it a fucking roulette of how your game will be? At least on a real server i can join familiar servers where players are on roughly the same skill level where as joining a random bunch of people every fucking game leads to a complete waste of time. YOU WANNA PLANT THE BOMB? SORRY, YOUR TEAM IS PLAYING TDM.
YOU WANNA CAPTURE THE HQ? Sorry, your team is so spread out across the map that you have no idea where they are.

Wasteland? why do people want to skip that? i quite enjoUH VOTE PASSED. KARACHI! Vote to skip? BLANKED OUT? So we're allowed to skip one map but the next one we are stuck with? How does that make any fucking sense?

What the fuck? Party is no longer active? THAT TELLS ME A FUCKING LOT ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PARTY WAS ACTIVE AND ARE IN THE FUCKING GAME RIGHT NOW - EXCEPT ME.
So you either have to annoy all your friends and ask them to leave the game or wait til they are all finished and try again.
My friends left and we grouped up and tried again.

Why isn't there even a chatbox in a game lobby?
Another time another space:
2 man group, me and my buddy Breh Panda.
We search for a game. We are both thrown into the loading screen.
I arrive in game to see the screen grey and scores. I have just joined a game that has ended.
I have just joined a game where a nuke has been fired.
I have just joined a game where the opponent has 180 points and my team has 0
I have just joined a game and within 5 seconds i have to wait because the host has left and it has to find a different one.
The worst thing about all of the above is not only is it just random most of the time, but it still happens. X months after MW2 and the online is just as dreadful. It's complete bullshit.
So, you've jonied a game. All the players have pretty good badges, miht be an alright game.

LOADING SCREEN
Ahhh i'm safe. The one way passage from loading into playing. Surely nothing can go wrong with this?
Have you ever been stuck in the loading screen? I have. My friends have.
Stuck? I don't know why, but once in awhile comes to one of the things like "Setting up game" and it stays on "Setting up game". You can't do anything. You can't escape. You are literally stuck there and it will not return you to the previous screen with like "Connection timed out"
I've waited for at least 4 minutes and nothing happens. I couldn't back out of it or get up my ctrl + alt + del friend. I had to turn off my computer.

Loading screen --- into game. Press tab. Why am i the only person in this game? Why has my friend and most other people timed out? WHY DID THIS HAPPEN 4 TIMES IN A ROW LAST NIGHT?
We've made it into a game. We've made it with loads of players and my buddies.

Why is it so excruitingly painful to get a playable game? I really don't understand.
What is even more vexing is that they have done fuck all about this shit. Oh what, you gave the 1887s a slight nerf? How about nerfing Noob tubes so i don't see a fucking idiot pop one out of nowhere and one hit kill me? Why don't you nerf the akimbo G18s with the fast RoF, ridiculous range or huge clip size? Why don't you make some of the killstreaks a little better? Harriers at 7 is a godsend. Much better than the first helicopter and much better than the 9 killstreak stealth bomber.
Why can't i have a filter system or just the ability to choose one map that i do NOT WANT TO PLAY and let me PLAY THE GAME THAT I WANT TO PLAY?
Why are you selling the new maps and extra gun or two for $15 when you could buy 2 arcade games for that? Since when did people have to pay for maps? Why do console players always have to pay for new maps when the PC users get them for free? How does that make any sense at all?
Honestly man, the variance in gameplay is awful. If you're not in a game that lags and has players that have an idea of what the god damn objective is then my god, that is the best you will ever get. But why is that so random to have?
I only play MW2 when a friend is on because that is the only time i can have an alright time because i can trust at least that one of my team mates is not a retard. My friend and i have tried 6-7 games in a row and not one of them has been decent and we just give up. It really is appaling.
